Would RecommendBest thing about this saw is, it's cordless! You can take it anywhere without the worry of electrical power. It has plenty of power considering it runs on a battery. It sure surprised me! It cuts clean and smooth without any problems or hang ups. It will cut 2x4s like butter. I am very pleased with it!

Would Not RecommendNot satisfied with dewalt had to Exchange three times I’m on my fourth one all four could not adjust 90 detent plat Screws would not allow plate to slide how to fix the detent plate to adjust 90° angle we have to put the correct degree numbers on detent plate ready it’s 90/85/80/75//70/65/60/55/50/45 OK got this one working hopefully it keeps working first one blade was throwing wood everywhere second one the motor was sound like it had a rock in it so on

Would RecommendI’m very happy with this purchase. The saw cuts straight and true. I do cabinet work for a living and this works great for doing small service jobs. The saw is light weight but cuts well.

Would Not RecommendI write this from a review of a Porter Cable cordless nailer . Dewalt discontinued the tool and they offer a Bostich brand , I wonder how long before they stop that one . But the real deal breaker for me is they closed the Dewalt service center in the St.louis area , they have had one of my tools for 6 weeks now , no more Dewalt tools for me.
Portable Power
Would RecommendThis miter saw is just the portable power I need for easily completing some woodcutting for installing a ceiling-height boarder in my kitchen. With it, I won't have to trudge up & down my basement steps to make the cuts in the wood that I will need. I will be able to do my cutting and trimming on my deck, just outside my kitchen. This will save my knees!
