Would RecommendI bought this saw about a year ago, and I love it. I originally bought it as a just because I wanted it tool. I mostly use it for cutting 2"X4"s facia, and brick mold. It's not a replacement for my 12" saw however after having it I wouldn't want to be without it. Dewalt could've made it a much better saw had they made it a double bevel. Build quality is as good as my Dewalt 779. The saw head is tight, accurate, and easy to calibrate. A Diablo blade made it a better saw. Easily runs 2 days with ...

Look no further for a miter saw
Would RecommendAwesome miter saw. Prefect cuts with the cutting guidance system. Awesome run time. I use my 4ah battery and it lasts all day. I use my 8ah battery and it lasts for several days. I am a contractor so i make dozens of cuts daily with it. Very light weight and portable. Dewalt nailed it with this one.

Wow, light and Powerfull!
Would RecommendI was looking for a 10" Chop Saw, just ssomething light. I have a huge Dewalt 13" or 15" sliding miter saw that rarely gets huge because it is heavy and very awkward to use anywhere other than mounted permanently in the wood shop. Anyway, by Harbor Freight chop saw failed after only two years, so I needed another one for a work bench I was building. The tool guy at our local Lowes showed this one to me and I fell in-love with it. Thanks to black Friday deals (at HD), I already had (2) 6 Amp...
Great portable saw
Would RecommendI like that it’s portable and also comes with a 40 tooth blade and not a cheap 25 tooth

Love It
Would RecommendPlenty of power with the stronger batteries. Nice weight easy to move around. Cut 2x6 and decking all day on one charge.
Love this little saw!
Would RecommendThis thing is accurate and powerful enough to handle the trim work that I purchased it for. I did cut a few 2 X 4's with no problem at all. I have been using a 2 amp battery with the saw and it last a long time.

Cheap parts
Would Not RecommendUse for a week, put back in box, went to use again a month later, tried to change the blade and the Allen head striped… retaining bolt so tight channel locks have striped the outside of bold smooth… retaining bolts that are meant to be Tightened and loosened frequently shouldn’t be such poor quality for such an expensive saw…+ lost a 2 hours of a day trying to get it off
