Would Not RecommendIt seems well-built. And includes useful features. However, my last DeWalt hammer drill stopped working properly (I had to keep removing and reinstalling the battery to keep it working for more than 15 minutes). The DeWalt-authorized repair shop wanted $120 to repair it. Since I still had the batteries, I purchased a "bare-tool" replacement. Had I not had the batteries, I would have purchased a different brand.

Dewalt dissapointment
Would Not RecommendI was excited about having a half inch 20V drill. Worked great until it just quit working. No warning, no noise just wont work any more. This is the second one that quit in less than a year apart. I have a lot of Dewalt tools and this one is not at the standard I am used too.
broke
Would Not RecommendStopped working after 2 yars with very few working hours.

Good drill for price
Would RecommendPowerful, easy to hold and performs exactly like I hoped it would. Mild delay in pressing trigger and presentation of full power but not bad enough to reduce my rating or how much I like the tool.
used twice
Would Not Recommendhad to set small anchors in red brick. drilled 6 holes with my new hammer drill. bit was "stuck" in chuck, wouldnt loosen to release masonry bit. very disappointed for a usually quality product such as DeWalt.

My be changing to "RED" tools!
Would Not RecommendI have been a DeWalt guy for a while now but that may be changing. I am a local contractor/remodeler and bought the 18V cordless hammer drill to replace the previous drill I had for about 1 yr that stripped out the high gear! I pulled it out of the box and put a hole saw on it to cut a hole for a dryer vent and the unit kept kicking out and stopping even on a fully charged battery. I have a lot of "yellow" tool, batteries and chargers so this was very disheartening with the amount of money I hav...
