Everything I expected, just in a smaller package

Excellent drill

I needed a cordless drill for DIY projects around the house. I’ve used it a couple times. It’s a very sturdy, well-built drill with plenty of power. Also, the light is plenty strong and the batteries charged really quickly. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Battery

Drill is very strong. Batteries not so much-charges quickly, but doesn’t last very long( 13 holes 1/2”dia in 2x CCA) .Powerstack vs 2.0 AH battery very little difference . Would not recommend powerstack or 2 Ah battery with this drill. I had to buy new 5Ah batteries.

Multifaceted

Powerhouse in a compact design!

With 3 light settings, I can always see what I'm doing. Paired with the new power stack battery, it's light weight and I can use it all day. Great drill!

Dewalt dcd800

Awesome drill with the 2AH & Powerstack battery. Like the options on the light. Has plenty of torque! Drilled numerous holes in 3/8 steel. No problem. The dcf850 driver with the Powerstack battery is the bomb! Super lightweight, and drives anything I have thrown at it.

Really?!?

Just picked up this NEWLY RELEASED Dewalt drill. (4-28-22) Opened the box and charged the Power Stack battery first thing. After the battery finished charging I went to put it on the drill and it didn’t want to slide on. I had to try several times, forcefully, before the latch let it engage to the drill. Had to press hard to get it back off and found it needs to be pressed down slightly to easily slide onto the drill. Not typical of Dewalt’s products or even the ATOMIC bandsaw I just purchased l...
