Always wanted one. It did not disappoint.Everything I thought it would be.

My 1st Dewalt

Solid tool and amazing battery life from both batteries, 2Ah and 1.7Ah. Light but powerful. I choose this kit as it has the latest battery technology from Dewalt and might be more future proof than my old drill(s)

Most powerful compact drill ever

This drill is so powerful, I’m impressed with the amount of power it has. It doesn’t have the hammer/drill option but it’s ok, one little tip, the 2am battery that comes with it, its perfect for an impact drill, not for this drill, with this drill you need the power stack battery, 4amp or higher due to the amount of power it delivers.

Powerful Dril

This drill has been in my collection for about 2 years now with everyday use at home and work and it’s still running strong. When I’m at work installing this drill never fails to punch holes through laminate countertops, or even thinscape. Working in a dim lit area ? No problem, just set the light mode to 20 minute and now you have a extremely bright work light you can set up and work with no problems. I would highly recommend this drill driver to anyone looking to buy one.

Awesome Power

Was on the fence between this and a Craftsman, but I’m glad I picked this up. Has plenty of torque and the battery life is great. Can get plenty of projects done without having to wait on it to charge. It’s really lightweight, which is nice so I won’t have to take extra breaks. Definitely worth it!

Light weight compact and very powerful power stack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with the power of this drill. I have both the DCD701F2 12v drill and the DCD992P2 20v hammer drill. I found it to be more powerful than the 12v by far and almost as powerful as the 20v. There was a noticeable power increase going from the 20v battery to the power stack battery. I will definitely get more of those. I love the for a smaller size drill it has a metal chuck.

Paired with a power stack battery, this is a perfect combination for any application. I used it to drill in some hinge screws and bore handle holes and it performed perfectly.

This Is What You Need

My first project with this drill, was a duel seat bench with cooler in the middle. It handled everything I threw at it and then some. One of my favorite features is the adjustable light, that can be turned off, when in use, and on constantly. Partnered with the power stack, this combo is outstanding!

DCD800 the beast sleek and must have tool
