This tool is a huge step up compared to my cheap drill gun. Battery run time is fabulous, and much more powerful.

One of the best drills for the money

I was very excited to free myself from extension cords and replace my existing wired Black and Decker drill with a cordless option. I did my research and decided on this model. Although for Black Friday a similarly cheaper variant (also brushless) option was available at Lowes Sicklerville for half the price (~100 bucks), I opted for the newer XR version which is slightly more powerful and comes with a hard plastic case which will extend it's life. Four Years - Going Strong!

I've owned this drill for over four years now and it's used many times a week. From driving to drilling out stuck screws, this drill is a beast. It's been dropped several times and has never been damaged. Because of the strength, it is a little heavy. However, it's worth the weight to have the strength! I end up only using the 2.0ah batteries with this beast to keep it lighter but the 5.0 and 6.0 would work fine as well. Overall, I'm very happy with this product as it's been able to do anything ...

This drill works amazing and makes projects a lot more easier for me. I love how its got an led light that comes on while in use for all those dark and tight places. It’s very easy to use and stays charged for a really long time compared to others. I definitely recommend this product to anyone weather your beginner or professional level for any tasks and projects.

I have worked as a journeyman electrician for 17 years this tool. This is one of my favorite tools and the one I have used most often. There are several things I like about it. Great Drill

I am just a weekend warrior and I do not use this in my profession. This drill has surpassed all of my expectations. It is so easy to use and charge seems to last forever. I like the case it came in which is very easy for me to organize my drill and charger. I will definitely be look for more DeWalt tools in the future.

Boy oh boy

Man was I impressed with the power and versatility behind the brushless driver and drill! I am amazed at how much work time you get off of a normal 6 ah battery! I will definitely be purchasing a second combo for my arsenal!

I bought this for 2 reasons a. Dewalt reputation (i own a lot of their products) and b. This is BIG. It comes with a hardcase! This trend towards bags is STUPID! No more bags Dewalt! Are you listening. Oh and c. Made in the USA. That matters. (From globally sourced parts… cant have everything i guess.)

Light and powerful!

Husband loves the small size and great power to weight ratio. Fits in his hand well. Nice that it has a metal chuck. Seems to be a well-made drill. And we really like that it is made in the USA.
