Great drill and quality so far

Great drill. I have had off brand tools for a long time and wanted to go with the dewalt system. I was long overdue for a drill so I bit the bullet and invested in this drill. I bought this one due to the all metal chuck which has gotten much better reviews over the cheaper plastic chucks. Also American made. Drill is plenty powerful for half inch bits. Even used 1in paddle bits with no hesitation. Great tool!

Very capable for the money

Very powerful. Does everything I need it to do. Battery life is a bit short but for $100 a larger capacity one can be purchased.

This is a strong, high torque drill with a long lasting battery. Feels like a well built product aimed at pros and serious users but it is not too heavy. Great drill.

The drill was purchased because of a need to have more tools spread around the warehouse, instead of sharing the same tools.

Chuck can get stuck. Do not over tighten.

In the Dewalt battery ecosystem it's nice to have a chucked drill from time to time. We use these all the time. Nice weight when paired with the smaller batteries, but not too bulky with the larger ones either.
