Bought this kit in late 2018-early 2019 and both batteries are bad already won’t take a full charge and drain within minutes of use. Went to Lowe’s to hope they would replace but say I have to deal with dewalt. Not happy at all. A lot of money to spend on batteries that are junk and I take care of my tools these batteries were not abused and still look brand new

Too Clumsy

Unless you use the 2 hour batteries the drill gets too bottom heavy. I returned it.

This has nothing to do with my appreciation for Lowe's. However I am not happy with Dewalt for leaving me with five tools that I can no longer use without getting their new converter and two puney batteries. Lowe's did have 2 of the old batteries and a drill on special last year which I thought was a good deal. Now I suspect that it was just a way to get rid of the old stock . I will certainly be looking at other brands in the future.

Garbage... total garbage Avoid! -

Just save yourself the time and aggravation and go buy 18v batteries or a new tool. You can also have your 18v battery packs rebuilt. Whatever you do, just DO NOT buy this awful product. Darins the batteries overnight, doesnt "fit right" horrible run-time compared to a an 18v (let alone the xtra run time 18v).

I love the 18 Volt Adapter!

I had to purchase a 20-Volt battery and charger for a new Dewalt tool that I had purchased that did not come with a battery. When I was searching I came across this one with the 18 Volt adapter and made the purchase. I have an 18 Volt tool that needed a new battery and now I have a Lithium one and adapter that works perfect! Great job Dewalt!

worst batteries i have ever bough

Feb 1, 2021 worst batteries i have ever bought I purchased these 20v battery adapter kit in 2019 and they were not impressive right out the box they stopped holding a decent charge within 4 or 5 months at limited use. when the charger says it is fully charged the battery indicator on the battery says it only has 2 out of 3 bars and they now last about 1 minute if that using my impact drill, the original 18v batteries were awesome and lasted several years but these 20v just suck time to check out...

Already dead

Purchased in July 2020 and they will not charge. Charger says batteries are charged but when checking the battery itself it only shows 1 bar and will not drive a screw. I've had 18v batteries last for years.

The batters do not stay charged very long . My 1.5 ah stay charged longer .

Halfway Worthless - Save Your Money

I should have just bought the batteries designed to go with my older18V drill, but they are so dang expensive. So, I tried these adapters so I could use the batteries in a new drill, as well. Charged the batteries up (check), but the adapter on (check), put the battery with adapter in the drill (check), drill powers on (check), works for about 10 seconds and quits. The longest it lasted was 10 minutes. There is obviously a bad connection. The batteries worked just fine in another drill that ...

keeps me using my 18v. shame they created a new battery connection, probably not thinking of us

Must Have Dewalt Adapter

I have every 18Volt tool Dewalt made but the batteries got old so none worked anymore. I was thinking of making my own adapter and then found out it was already done. I am very happy and lucky that I did not buy any tool I already had.. John
