Would RecommendI bought this to replace an old 18 volt battery that would not hold a charge. I was not aware that I could use a 20 volt battery to replace an 18 volt battery until the Lowe’s employee explained this to me. The new battery works great and seems to have plenty of power. I would recommend this solution to anyone who has a problem with an old battery.

First, and probably the most annoying problem, is that the adapter slowly discharges the batteries when they’re connected to the tool. Whereas I could leave the 18v batteries attached to my tools for months and they’d still be ready to go, the 20v batteries discharge in about a week when connected to the adapter.
