Seems like from the reviews that quality control of this item is hit and miss. I got a miss. Couldn't make a square cut to save my life. Didn't matter pressure used, or angle of fence. Rotor was off, causing blade to wobble badly. I'd give it a miss unless you like to gamble. Bought the Hercules from Harbor Freight and didn't have any problems. Waste of time overall.

Cuts straight and cleanly
The tool cuts straight, precisely, and very cleanly, even at very large thicknesses, but you need to use an angle to ensure the accuracy of the vise. I have had the device for 3 and a half years, and I carry the device over its capacity. It is excellent and I rely on it, and it is superior to other well-known brands.

I bought this saw to replace the dewalt chop saw that I had for the past 30 years. It cuts pretty good and I hope that it will last for a long time. The only thing I do not like is that it is as heavy as my last one.

Would RecommendMake sure when you cut that it’s zone out so you can cut a straight line. Don’t rush cutting it
Doesn't cut straight
Doesn't make straight cuts, it walks away from you even with a small amount of pressure. Slight pressure and you can see the disc bend away from the original entry cut. I should have researched before I purchased - the whole point of buying a chop saw was to help make straight cuts faster.
