It was the perfect fit and detail I was looking for my new mailbox post.

Found these as replacements for the post caps currently on deck. Old ones were falling apart. These are an identical match and painted up nicely. Didn't trust the sticky tape on the underside so I added Gorilla glue to hold them in place.

Great product.

These added just the right amount of detail that I wanted to my deck posts. Beautiful

Mason Bee Cedar Post

Wrapped a treated 4x4 with cedar fencing and topped it with the 6"x6" Cedar deck Cap. Attached the Mason Bee House to it -- works and looks grate. The "Cap" was like the frosting on the project.

Excellent design and adds so much to the deck.

Just what I wanted to add some character to the deck. Easy to install.

Poor quality post cap

I had Lowe's contract to build a deck for me. All went well but 3 out of 8 post caps warped and cracked within 3-4 months. These were made from cedar but they still became unuseable. I replaced two with solar lights and one very similar from another provider as Lowe's did not have any in stock. So far the remaining caps are okay but a few have small cracks.

Cedar post caps

These caps were a little darker than the cedar 4x4 posts but made for a good contrast. There was more detail and better made than some at other stores. Very fair price.

Cedar post caps work perfectly to finish off posts

I used these caps for a quick and easy finish for a porch railing. It provides a great look without a lot of time.

6x6 post caps

split in only 2 days. they actually fell apart.

This is only one of the things I got from Lowes, couple of months ago bought 3 more and bought 12 of the post topping solar lites to finish off our deck also got 4 of the stair lites also all solar.. Deck looks great, will finish off deck with a Smokey Joe "Bandera" grill from your mail order catalog.

Look awesome

These caps look awesome on our fence. The only negative we found was we needed to secure them with finishing nails as the sticky tab inside does not work. If you're looking for a classy finish to your fence, these are what you are looking for.

Great cap for the money

Well worth the money ..I had to replace 2 caps on my porch posts. It has a adhesive tape to stick it to the post but I added a little liquid nails to make it a bit more sturdy. Much easier than cutting out all the parts myself and building the caps myself. I recommend it!

Beautiful design

This is a Beautifully designed post cap. The cedar that is used accepts stain quite well and looks great. Though I think that it's a little expensive.

post caps deteriorate after 2 years -

They look great when new but these mitered post caps can't take an outdoor environment. I installed 9 of these on my 6x6 rail posts on the deck I built in NC and stained them with $75 a gallon deck stain. They became discolored before the pressure treated pine deck did, and at 2 years old they started warping and the mitre joints began to separate. My deck is three years old this fall and I need to replace these post caps with something else before I re-stain the deck this year.
