Ratings & Reviews for Deckorators 6-in x 6-in Newport High Pyramid Wood Cedar Deck Post Cap
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise these post caps for their beautiful, detailed design that enhances deck and fence aesthetics, with most noting perfect fit on 4x4 and 6x6 posts. Installation is consistently described as easy using included adhesive pads or wood glue. Many express surprise at the quality relative to price, calling it excellent value. However, some report warping, cracking, or deterioration within months to two years, and a few mention rough surfaces requiring extra work. Despite these durability concerns, most customers consider them a worthwhile finishing touch and would recommend them.

Good Caps
Would RecommendThe caps were well constructed and looked as advertised. I bought them to replace rotted caps and they fit the 6x6 post perfectly. The adhesive didn't always hold the cap in place but I think it was because the post surfaces weren't always straight. A bit of caulk worked fine instead.
