Would RecommendWow! As simple as the installation of the basic railings is, installation of the stair railing is very challenging (and frustrating). The one-page/one-image instructions are at best lacking and at worst minimally helpful. After installing the horizontal deck rails with minimal difficulty, it took me about six hours to finally install the stair railing (which is probably about the same time it took me to install 10 posts and seven rail kits). Ridiculous and Costly Experience
Would Not Recommend2 things others should know: Lowe's stores don't know their own inventory and the website is largely incorrect which resulted in 3 roundtrips to a store 60 miles away for nothing When finally I had no choice but for delivery ($79) Lowe's uses Budget Rental trucks - 2 of the 4 items HAD NO INCLUDED HARDWARE AND the truck driver kept saying he was "10 minutes away" but showed up 2.5 hrs later. I waited 4 hrs in a vacant house. Unless you can physically go in and purchase the deckarators railing...
