Missing Parts

Purchased this stair railing kit. Came without packaging and missing attaching hardware. Contacted Deckorators and they told me I'm out of luck. They would not supply the missing parts and I had to purchase them myself at an additional cost.

Very nice rail, provided installation manual trash

The straight rails are very easy to install, the STAIR railings on the other hand with provided paper installation manual is insufficient and inaccurate, the bracket images do not match. bought 15 total pcs 2 no brackets

I bought 15 pcs in total, still needed about 10 more, I notice 2 doesn't have brackets, I contact lowes, they said contact supplier, I contact decorators twice, they said I have to buy it on my own, because it doesn't come with brackets, the rest have brackets, and on the box it's specifed that 4x brackets are Included, don't waste your time like those companies wasted kind, and do not buy it.

Difficult to install.

Poor instrctions. Very hot to touch in the summer sun!!! Perhaps could even burn.

Doesn't stay "pre-assembled"

I've done 3 decks using this railing system. The pre assembled flat railing worked fine but the pre assembled sections for stairs come apart as soon as you open them The top rail comes off as soon as you angle it into position. It's not easy to put all the balusters back into place and keep them there. These are a friction fit type of railing and are very loose. Also the connectors are mis-manufactured. I liked the product very much. I think the product is great. This is not a review against the product, at all, but since I have not received a link to provide a review of Lowes customer service I had to vent here. Lowe's customer service was less than satisfactory. Durable railing off the shelf and worth the money

Good looking railing. Versatile install options. A little pricey but should last many years. It has quality construction of black powder coated aluminum. So it is worth the investment. This railing replaced a tired and dated 1980's wood railing and added beauty to our front porch and steps. It was recommended and later installed by our siding installer in a few hours. It looks like a custom railing from a metal fabrication shop. Great product.

Look at both the video and the written instruction

I thought the quality of the product was good, the packaging good, and all of the pieces were there. The extremely frustrating portion were the poor instructions and lack of useful illustrations to assist with assembly for stairs. It specifies using a 39" post at the top and a 48" at the bottom 39" at the top with a 36" high railing height will not work. Parts missing from box

Evidently this stair rail had been returned to store by another buyer, was taped out good, the rail was in good shape. However, the brackets with hardware, which includes 3 inch rail supports with hardware, were not in the box. The empty pack as well as the packing around the empty pack was in the box and made to look like the brackets and hardware were inside.
