First being you are provided with the exact number of screws necessary for the install, they are square head screws so not my favorite, and decks are usually high above the ground, so you are bound to drop one, and with no spares you are going to cuss while you search for it in the abyss. Would RecommendThese railings are beautiful. I used them on my carport instead of a deck and they look really good. My husband said they looked way better than he expected them too, (which is a wonderful complement from him). We have installed them ourselves. My husband had to use a band saw to cut them the correct size but if you can measure and cut them they are pretty easy to do it yourself.
