Would RecommendProduct description says fits 5x5 but package says 4x4. If you unscrew the light from the holder and carfully screw it in the adapter piece upsdie down it will fit a 5x5 post but you have to caulk up the base real good because it doesnt fit snug, more like a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. You also have to force the screws in the outer edge of the base not in the holes they came out of. I also used a drill and a couple of small self tapping screws to secure it further and caulked up inside the base area as well....

Would RecommendThe post adapters didn't fit properly so I made my own and the lamps fit perfectly.
