Great product and looks.

Worked perfectly as intended. I predrilled small hole each one. No effort installing them after that. Dont countersink them per directions. Looks great.

Easy to drive

I enjoyed using this product. With the correct bit it was easy to drive without the bit slipping out of the end of the screw. It has a small head so that it didn't displace much product when sunk below the surface of the product. Doesn't call attention after installed.

I do not recommend theses screws

The screws start hard and strip very easily. Approximately 25% of the screws stripped even after pre-drilling the holes. I do not recommend

Terrible

I spent more time trying to remove these screws than putting them in. First, the only way to make these *possibly* work is to pre-drill everything. Second, these dumb things bend, which makes them almost impossible to remove. Third, they strip so easily, and I tried 2 different types of stripped screw removal tools, but they would work on these. My deck has screws that are sticking up, that I couldn't remove or screw in completely, so I'll be working on taking those out until it's fixed. Do...

Total Frustration

Like a lot of other people, I am finding the same issue that the quality is extremely poor. No matter how careful you are, a lot of screws never sink in all the way. I have tried pre-drilling which helped a little, but there is still a high percentage that simply do not go in or the head strips. If you purchase expensive composite decking, don't even consider using these screws.

I used these on my deck and they kept stripping out even with a pilot hole

I was really frustrated with these screws. Even predrilled they do not go in all the way and strip even with a slight angle if pressure is applied. The standart 25T decking screws from the same company work great however. I have spent several hours replacing these as it was impossible to get most of them out without stripping the head. It was a frustrating waste of my time and money.

Set them level with decking surface.

Spline drive did not slip or strip out. Screws left little to no debris after driving.

Made from a soft metal

These are very soft and spin out easily, the star bit they give you with each box is not good quality and doesn’t help matters.

Garbage. But at least they match

I am glad I went with the hidden fasteners for my Trex decking because if I had to build the whole thing with these pieces of garbage I would have gone crazy. When they aren't stripping out, they are putting cracks near the edge of the Trex. They are extremely difficult to work with and the different sized threads on the screws make it very hard to guide through a board. Did not work well on Trex.

80 percent of the time these worked great with a pilot hole drilled in the Trex decking but the other 20 percent of the time they did not go all the way in and the heads stripped. I used the included bit and also some Milwaukee bits and no joy. Now I have a bunch that I have to cut off or try to back out with vice grips. These were advertised to drive well even without pilot holes so I am disappointed.
