Craftsman gas powered weed tried go

I purchased the craftsman gas powered weedeater a year ago. It ran great for about six uses now it will not start and once it starts it will not stay running. I contacted Lowes. They told me to contact Craftsman who told me to contact Lowe’s. I’m getting the runaround from Lowes, which is not been a case in the past. Try to speak with the manager numerous times they never pick up the phone or return calls. This is the Lowes at Edgewood in Atlanta, Georgia.

Worked for a while

Worked good for about 6 months. Now it will not run. If it starts it will run for a few seconds then shuts off

Wore me out trying to get it started. Terrible product.

Worst purchase ive ever made. Piece of junk. Took to a repair shop and was told it is one of the worst trimmers on the market. One summer of use and it does not work.

Hard starting

Hard starting but the trimming bump head is my main problem it’s considered a wear item and not covered under warranty. I have to use channel locks to rewind the line but then it shoots out a long piece. It even rapped around my leg. Going to see if the old style head will fit.

Bought at the end of April used it about 6 times with no issues kept the box it came in up until last week. Threw the box out and Saturday it started giving me issues. It’d run normally until the throttle was squeezed then putt until shutting off pull the string it’d fire up then run again until throttled. Now it won’t start at all. Very frustrating not even to get a whole season of mowing done before issue.

terrible

bought just a couple months ago and we’ve changed the head twice. the eyelets fly out of it each time we try to use it and i have to buy a new head. would really love to return it just not sure if i missed the window. i would give 0 stars if i could

will not buy craftsman again

I have owned several craftsman weedwackers..this model is awful! the pull cord handle is positioned so that it bruises my elbow, it vibrates way too much. the shield over the string head is too large and gets caught on the grass. bought a "husq" runs great minimal vibration shield etc perfect

Junk Trimmer

Very hard to start, you need to pull and pull, when it does finally start you can't keep it running! NO POWER! Do your shelf a favor and buy something else. Craftsman has gone in the toilet!

Avoid Craftsman

I’ve had 2 of these and they both broke the attachments broke all within 2 years of buying. I would avoid or buy the protection plan, assuming you want to deal with the hassle of getting it fixed through that.

The first time my gardener used this weed eater it overheated and wouldn't start again because it was hot. I'm returning it probably tomorrow Sunday

Terrible re-stringing process

Do not buy this trimmer. I purchased one as a backup and it’s absolutely terrible. No power, like barely enough torque to self trim excess line. The re-spooling process is absolutely atrocious.
