3 months old. Throttle wont work. Under warranty so I’ll return it.

Easy to start and use

Engine not as strong as I thought it would be. Not meant for large yards.

Not like the old Craftsman Products

Do not waste your money. I bought it yesterday used it for less than 30 minutes, it has no power, and the plastic covers on the motor got so hot it burned my arm. Returned it this morning. So disappointed, craftsman used to be a great product that lasts a long time.

Not worth the money

These weed eaters are the hardest thing in the world to start. Im very sick of mine already. Prior to buying this one I had already owned a Husqvarna 330LK. There's a huge difference in the brand. Spend the extra and buy a Husqvarna or Stihl.

Durability is non-existent

This is my 3rd...... Let me repeat that, this is my 3rd WS2200. Every single one of them has broken. First one the clutch went out of after 3 uses. Replaced it hassle free..... Then it quit starting a few months later. I bought another one 2025, it quit starting after about 3 uses. got another one end of the season. I've had terrible luck with them. The price point is great, just the durability unfortunately isn't there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So listen, I brought the product secondhand off of marketplace. It has ran well despite complicated starting instructions. (I have learned that the number two spot is just a suggestion after a couple of pulls. Do not try and hold it for 30 seconds. It’s just not gonna happen. Just move it to three after 2 to 5 pulls on number two ,and then hold the throttle down for 30 seconds.) anyway the trimmer head is the real issue. I have owned mine for ...

Save your money and buy something else. From day one hard to start. I finally have given up on it and threw it where it belongs. In the trash. I will never buy another craftsman.

Craftsman gas powered weed tried go

I purchased the craftsman gas powered weedeater a year ago. It ran great for about six uses now it will not start and once it starts it will not stay running. I contacted Lowes. They told me to contact Craftsman who told me to contact Lowe’s. I’m getting the runaround from Lowes, which is not been a case in the past. Try to speak with the manager numerous times they never pick up the phone or return calls. This is the Lowes at Edgewood in Atlanta, Georgia.
