What Customers Are Saying
The Craftsman V20 cordless string trimmer is a lightweight and maneuverable tool suitable for basic yard maintenance tasks. It performs well for light trimming and edging, though may struggle with thicker weeds or overgrown areas. The automatic line feed feature is convenient, but some users reported issues over time. Battery life is the main limitation, typically lasting 15-30 minutes on a full charge of the included 2Ah battery. This trimmer is a good value for homeowners with small to medium-sized properties who need a cordless option for light-duty yard work, though those with larger or more heavily overgrown yards may require a more powerful model.

Would Not RecommendI bought this to replace my other Craftsman trimmer ( plastic spool cap broke and can't find a replacement). It not as powerful as the last version and uses thinner line. If I were buying again I would skip and go for a better version.

Okay...
Would Not RecommendI had the V60 trimmer and mower and then Craftsman abandoned that line INCLUDING all the batteries for sale...got this and it's nowhere near as powerful as the V60 but it works...

Horrible Workmanship
Would Not RecommendThis item was purchased as a replacement for the 3-year old weed eater that finally died. I used this 4 times, most recently today (8-3-2025) and it no longer works. I was unable to finish the yard work that was planned for today. Thankfully I purchased a product warranty but it remains to be seen if that will get me a replacement, Time will tell.
