What Customers Are Saying
The Craftsman V20 cordless string trimmer is a lightweight and maneuverable tool suitable for basic yard maintenance tasks. It performs well for light trimming and edging, though may struggle with thicker weeds or overgrown areas. The automatic line feed feature is convenient, but some users reported issues over time. Battery life is the main limitation, typically lasting 15-30 minutes on a full charge of the included 2Ah battery. This trimmer is a good value for homeowners with small to medium-sized properties who need a cordless option for light-duty yard work, though those with larger or more heavily overgrown yards may require a more powerful model.

Battery Issue
Purchased this yesterday, August 24th and assembled it and plugged in the battery and charger. It took hours for the first blinking light to stop and overnight, the second light never came on. Used it today and was impressed with the ease of the trimmer and ability to switch it over to an edger. Plugged the charger back in to the battery and it's now been 12 hours and the second light has again failed to light up. I'd hate to disassemble the entire unit, put it back in the box and return it, but...
Can't recommend
Would Not RecommendI'm used to a 4 cycle gas, but thought I'd give this a go. The line is so thin, that I burned through an entire real of string in half my small hard. Additionally, the broken string comes at your legs like pieces of class, so don't be me, and wear shorts. Put on a new real of string, and now it's just shooting out the unit without cutting anything. I just can't recommend this.
Trimmer works ok
Would Not RecommendI hate the battery system though. I used the device and it worked well. However I used the battery twice in one charge and let it sit for a long time and now the battery doesn't work and I think the charger is junk too. That's what you get when you buy stuff on sale!
