Really nice fill size cordless, brushless circular saw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with the quality of this saw. I use it very often and have had no issues with it. It runs smooth no shaking so my cuts are very clean and precise. The guide keeps me safe as intended. Handle grips keeps a steady hold so im not loosing grip. The blade is very made and has lasted through dozens of small DIY projects.

simple and safe to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to use even for the novice tool user ! not having to worry about the cord was great, makes it easier to store. the battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. I like that the same battery charger will fit any of the tools in the line so I don't have to pay for an additional battery and charger with each item.

Awesome saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw a month ago to build a bed frame for my mother in law and it functions flawlessly. Cutting 2x4s, 4x4s and 1x2s was easy. It's ergonomics is awesome. The blade brake is quick to stop the blade. The battery life is awesome. Next project is my garden beds replacement.

More than DIYer

It draws power efficiently from the batteries I felt as it lasts much longer than some of the competitor saws my friends own.

Won’t even cut through a 2x4

Even with a fully charged 4ah battery, it won’t cut through a 2x4. It seems well built but horribly underpowered.

Craftsman Circular Saw is Superior!

I have needed a good quality Circular Saw for a long time. I was able to pick this 7 1/4" saw along with a Reciprocating Saw with my Drill & Driver for $215 total. That is an unbelievable deal for what you get. This Circular Saw is big enough for the 2x4s and 2x6s that I need to cut and it handles them with ease. Although the brand has changed hands over the years, I have always held Craftsman in high regard and this saw, in particular, keeps them at the top of my list! Highly recommend this s...

Extreamly poor design, had to return.

You can not see the guide for cutting. The hinge for setting depth of cut blocks it completely. What were these mechanical designers thinking. I'm a retired product design engineer and would have never approved this design because of it. Blade guard to thick and bulky and gets in the way when cutting to a certian depth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great saw and has great power for when cutting. I've made many cuts with just one battery. I've cut so far up to 3/4 in MDF board with no hesitation which is nice. I have almost every craftsman tool and I like them all. To me very comparable with other brands om the market. I still need a few more tools to have them all. So far only complaint is the 18 guage finish nailer.

Handy and easy to use.

The cordless circular saw was used for framing out a shower. Cutting out sub floor in a kitchen and ripping a sheet of plywood.
