Easy to instal the blade

Like the fact that is battery operated, easy to used and handle

Great Saw

I was very impressed by this saw. is it "professional grade" maybe not because Stanley Black and Decker used plastic for the blade guard but the saw its self is definitely heavy duty. I have owned quite a few different circular saws from all the main brands and this thing is a beast. I'd buy it again and again.

Performance

Batterie and saw performance was fantastic cutting thru 4x4 , 2x6, and 2x4 one battery making raised garden bench’s.

Not your old cordless saw

My daughter and I built several birdhouses and made a raised deck to place our AC compressor on. It did a great job and did not eat up the battery. We moved the 3 amp hr battery among a circular saw, drill and when we were finished it had just under 1/2 its power left.

Requires battery

Would have been nice if 40tooth blade ang battery was included. I already have the battery as I love the V20 collection of tools.

Handy saw

Works just fine.

Worst saw won’t even. It a 2x4 constantly stopping

Worst saw brought this saw to cut up pallets, constantly gets stuck and won’t cut a 1x 4

Quality Control Needs Work

This saw cuts, however after the first cut on a brand new tabletop a bur on the shoe left a scratch parallel to the cut. This surface should be perfectly smooth but it was not.

3/4 Plywood

Bought this so I could rip some 3/4 plywood easier for a job I'm working on and it works great! I bought a clean cut blade for it and I made about 40 cuts today and it is working great. I didn't think the battery would last as long as it does, I do have the bigger extended batteries so I'm sure that makes a difference but still a really nice saw.

Very well built and balanced saw. Can share batteries with other craftsman tools

Definitely a step above

I got this saw roughly about two years after I got the regular one. The power is amazing and paired with a Dewalt blade, cut like butter. Had no problem ripping through three sheets of plywood.

Worthless

Normally I don’t write reviews but this thing is BAD. Can’t even get through 1 inch boards without extreme difficulty while using two fully charged batteries. Last about 3-5 minutes tops. I’m a fan of Craftsman but don’t waste your money on this item.

Let it spin to full speed before starting the cut.

Feels like a simplified full size circular saw in a compact lighter body.
