What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the powerful brushless motor, lightweight ergonomic design, and cordless convenience for home projects. Many highlight exceptional cutting performance through wood, 2x4s, and plywood, with users noting it cuts "like butter" and compares favorably to premium brands. The intuitive bevel and depth adjustments, laser guide, and brake enhance accuracy and safety. Cordless operation eliminates outlet dependency, and the efficient power draw extends battery life. Build quality is consistently described as solid and durable. A few report occasional stalling with thick cuts or stock blades, and some note heavy battery consumption under demanding use. Overall, most consider it an excellent value tool.

Great saw/ Great price
Would RecommendGreat saw, lots of power with a 4ah battery. Great run time. The blade is square to the plate as well. Having the break is a big step up from my previous circular saw.

Excelent circular saw
Would RecommendGreat saw, plenty of power using 4Ah battery. Better cutting dept than the 6.5 Saw... Paired with a Diablo blade and works like a charm... Got it on sale so no complaints on my part.

drains batteries too quick
Would Not Recommendbought this and it cuts good but it drained a 6 amp hr battery in 3 cuts on 3/4 osb. 2 long width cuts and a crosscut and it was dead. brand new battery fully charged I bought with the saw btw.
Great saw for the money!

Works great! Wish craftsman would also include a case for their v20 tools

Very good. Very handy.
Would RecommendNo cord. No extension cords. Very easy to use. This is not as powerful as a corded saw but it has enough power to get the job done. The convenience makes up for the fact that it takes a couple of seconds more to cut a 2x4. You're not going to frame a house with it but thats not its purpose.

Impressive Circular Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Circular Saw several months ago in order to add on to my back deck. I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of these Craftsman Brushless RP tools. This saw, in particular, allows me to cut through some solid wood 2x12's with ease. This latest was a big project so I bought an extra blade but haven't had to open the packaging as the stock blade is still going strong. I would rate this as one of my all time favo...
