Great Battery Powered Chain saw

This saw comes with the battery and it quickly charged on the charger (also included). The saw cut through tree branches like a hot knife through butter. Made a tough job easy. I am very pleased!

Great while it lasted.....

I was initially pleased with the saw. It has the added benefit of having batteries compatible with my Craftsman 20v drill. I bought an extra 5ah battery. It has/had great power, exactly what you'd expect for a 12" saw. I was able to cut about 20 4" trees or limbs, and the charger is able to rapid-charge the big battery so I was pleased. Not bad at all

My wife got this for my birthday and I laughed at first until I used it I was very surprised has plenty of power it does a great job I am very happy she got this for me.

PERFECT SAW

Perfect Product...I have used it to clear fencerows. Understanding it's size and of course limitations I assumed it would have because it is my first non-gasoline chainsaw it has far exceeded all my explanations. I LOVE IT , no gas, no mixing oil, no pulling a cord. I would and have recommended this saw to anyone. THANKS LOWES and THANKS CRAFTSMAN

Useful medium size cordless chainsaw

Clean, quiet and user friendly chainsaw. Now own three Craftsman products and they all work well with interchangeable power packs.

Great product

Cut down some bushes and a couple trees and a few branches with ease.

occasional use

Nice little tool. Only used it so far for pruning my mature Palo Verde, but it performed well. I did not cut anything bigger than 6 inches and it did well there. I've owned full-sized saws before and I'm not going to miss the maintenance and mixing fuel. Not cutting firewood any more, so this is perfect around my house.

Real Oil Leaker

Haven’t used to cut wood yet, it sits on work bench leaking oil. If I didn’t get such a super low sale price on this saw it would be returned in a heartbeat.

Great for bucking and trimming

Needed a lightweight, easy to use saw for general tree trimming and cutting small to medium logs. This saw is perfect for that. Much easier then dragging out the gas powered saw for smaller jobs. Decent battery life with the 4ah included battery.

Craftsman 12" Cordless Chainsaw

I purchased this chainsaw for myself. I have already used it through two battery charges. It is light weight and cuts easily. Makes very little noise. It actually starts acting a little sluggish just before it quits so you know it is time to recharge.

exactly what is expected

Ive had this chainsaw for a few months. Mainly used it for clearing and delimbing 3”-10” trees on my property in the florida panhandle. Its been great. I decided on this model because of the mobility it offers. I can climb through thick overgrowth to knock it down from the inside, or take down a tree around 10” in diameter. Impressive

I bought this after I purchased the craftsman v20 weed sacked.I have a lot of big trees on my property. Which gives me a lot of branch's after a winter or storm. It's great to use to clean up the branches instead of my big gas saw.But it's a BATTERY POWERED saw so don't expect it to clear cut the Forrest. Use it for it for intended use

Good Little Workhorse but Drips Oil

After a storm knocked over a 12-13" inch diameter ash tree on our property I used this chainsaw to cut pieces of it into firewood. It does really well on anything less than 10". When you start to get into larger trees it does struggle a bit and because of it's short chain you will have to cut into larger areas by moving cuts over and under to cut all the way through. Recommended! High quality and reliability. Cuts through like butter, does not jam. Good battery life cycle. Very satisfied. We recently cleared a lot of storm damage, multiple tree limbs down some, very thick. Cuts right through them. No gasoline to mess with, no extension cords. Portable. Convienient.

Impressive Chainsaw

This is the first chainsaw I have owned. I used it to trim and prune some small trees around our church and it was solid. Cut with power and the 4.0 battery it came with is solid. A very good chainsaw for small jobs.

cuts through like butter!

I've had this unit over a month or so and it is so much more convenient than a gas fueled chainsaw. This past storm lots of limbs came down and this V20 chainsaw cuts through like butter! I have so far cut through 4 inch branches and under with no trouble. Self-oiling is convenient. Battery life was about a full hour of continuous hard work through thick branches. Gutless garbage

No power, overheated after one thick cut. Definitely going to return and get a different brand and ensure it is gas. The craftsman sawzaw and drill were crappy too. Gonna have to upgrade to a better more durable brand. Craftsman is inexpensive but not worth buying new tools every few months.
