Great lantern

The EAL22 lantern is Just what I needed, I purchased it to use in wood shed getting firewood. Lights up half the backyard also :). D batteries work good, but pair in the rechargeable battery and oh man is it better. Absolutely a great product :) TY COAST!!

Solidly built

Feature packed!

I went out on a limb and ordered this along with the zx1010 rechargeable battery. A bit aggravated because I missed the bundle deal. I like that the zx1010 has a usb output and can thus be used as a power bank, good for emergency situations. The lantern itself has carabiners on both ends, and the globe can be removed to reduce the footprint of the lantern. Very bright on high, advertised as 1250 lumens. Good, but could be improved

Good light, but there is room for improvement. It would benefit from more complete/detailed instructions, particularly w.r.t. the installation of the rechargeable battery. The medium light level seems much brighter than the specs indicate – closer to the high level. To me it seems like low, high, and ultra-high levels. Would be nice if it came with a charging cable and had an external charging port; having to completely remove the rechargeable battery to charge it is inconvenient. Would be nice ...

Versatile lantern

This is not just a standalone lantern. It can be hung up from either end. There are numerous brightness levels as well as a red flashing light. Being able to remove the light cover provides even more light when necessary. Highly recommend the rechargeable battery for this. It takes a while to charge but it provides a substantial amount of light before it dies.

Great light at a great price point

Great emergency light for when power goes out. Also looks like they will hold up well for camping applications as well.

Power Outage Must Have

Buy it. You wont be sorry. We live in a rural area with frequent power outages. During a recent ice storm, we were out for 7 days. This lantern, even on the lowest setting, makes enough light to navigate a large room and will.last for 9 days on a charge. On medium and high, it hurts my eyes. Its a must have for me and my family.

Better than expected

I've used this to light up the interior of my new shed while I assemble shelves and move all my tools into it. The different brightness levels are a very welcome feature, because I can lower the intensity and save the battery. I also save my eyes, because this thing is BRIGHT!

Daylight Bright

Lights up the whole room! Great lantern w/ clips. It's a good weight, and has clips on both ends, plus a handle.

So far so good.

If anything it's too bright. I like the size and weight.
