This lamp/lantern is by far better than any you will find out there. The five different lighting modes with two colors (red & white) should fit any scenario needed. The lamp really earned its keep recently with a vet tending to an injured horse where there were no lights whatsoever. The vet offered to buy the light as she was that impressed by it. My only regret is buying only one of these. Well made and with strong materials. Pick one up and be prepared for anything.

The Best Electric Lantern on the Market

I bought one of these lights for camping. Before I got a chance to use it for it's intended purpose we had a power outage. My wife started gathering the smaller lights and some candles we keep in the house for outages short enough that makes it not worth the effort to set up the generator. Ordered these for my hurricane kit. Price was less expensive (almost) for 2 compared to other lights. Came packaged nicely. Nice product. Very well designed with hooks on both ends. Much brighter than another one I bought & returned & runs on less batteries. I hope I never have to use these, but like the flashing red warning light feature, too.

really like this and bought for emergency beacon in the car; would like to have a warmer LED but still the same brightness levels(personal choice but find it best suited for roadside) also would like to have batteries options to add to the shopping cart too.
