Love My Cafe Refrigerator
Installed the new CGE29DP2TDS1 Cafe Refrigerator today. It is beautiful and only took about 4 hrs to get the freezer down to 10 degrees. The interior is amazing and holds a lot. The lighted back wall really brightens the fridge shelves and makes it look so nice. My wife also loved the middle drawer and the flexibility with the temperature control. Also love the freezer compartment and layout with the sliding low profile drawer for pizza, pie crusts and flat items. Lots of room and designed!!

Love this fridge - one drawback...
We love our new Cafe Refrigerator - Tons of space in the door bins which is so helpful...we use the middle drawer a lot and love how you can change the configuration with the glass dividers. Only drawback is when putting the water pitcher back, the fridge usually throws an error - we have to take the pitcher out and put it back in again and that seems to fix it.

Beware of side panel nightmare!
For the most part we really the refrigerator and it is a great improvement to what we had previously. The storage capacity is excellent and we love all the features. My Favorite part is the ice make because it is located where it belongs, in the freezer (no more door ice maker issues!) The backlighting is also a very nice feature. Disappointed and Concerned
My Cafe Standard Depth Platinum Glass refrigerator was delivered today. I paid over $5000 for this refrigerator. Four $5000 I expect to see perfection. Instead on the left french door along the decorative seam. I see insulation or caulking that used from the seam. The decorative trim on the middle drawer on the right hand side has a huge chip in it and it’s rough and deep to the touch. Bad design of ice maker tray / capacity
The ice maker capacity is very low. There is much more room that they could have made the ice storage bin longer so it could hold more ice. It's a very bad design. The water dispenser on the pitcher is plastic and cheap which will be easily broken...why not make this part metal. Main complaint is the ice capacity being so small. Not good for a family of 5 with kids in sports and needing to fill lots of water bottles with ice and water. Wish we could return it.
