I can move easier in my kitchen

The blue packing film SUCKS!

I love the refrigerator, however, I gave it 4 stars due to the issues removing all the blue protective film. I spent HOURS trying to get it off & still some remains. It makes the fridge less esthetically pleasing! ☹️

DOA Refrigerator

Lowe's delivered this refrigerator with the incorrect handles and didn't ensure it was working before leaving. I now have a refrigerator installed with no handles and a does nothing but light up. It was dead on arrival with no quality control prior to delivery. Lowe's suggested that we schedule a GE technician to repair the fridge. Left Door Will Not Stay Open

This refrigerator was delivered and installed but the left side door will not stay open on its own from the very beginning. We finally got around to calling Lowes installation team to fix it and they would not come out because we didn't call them within 30 days (we have been managing a renovation so we are just now resolving these minor issues).

Doesn’t cool -GE doesn’t stand behind lemons

Update to earlier review. Still do not recommend this fridge. GE came out again for the 3rd/4th/5th time and installed parts and supposedly fixed the problem. Our ice cream was frozen for a few days but is now back to being disgustingly soft and mushy. Very frustrating to pay so much money for a fridge that continues to have cooling issues.

Really nice fridge

This fridge is amazing, and looks great. Fits the space perfectly, and huge interior. The middle refrigerated drawer is so convenient. I really like the water pitcher dispenser and auto-refill. We didn't put any magnets on because it looks so nice.

Terrible exterior

While the inside of the refrigerator is beautiful, the outside is horrible. There’s something wrong with the stainless steel. I returned my first one as I thought it was just that model but the replacement has the same awful etching on the door above the fridge in the exact same place so there is clearly something wrong with their stilss stainless. Buyer Beware, GE will not stand behind product

Received defective product, the box has a dip in it which caused air to get into the freezer and create ice and frost all over the rails and food. I called this in during the GE warranty, but the technicians couldn't figure out the problem. They replaced parts, more parts, the entire freezer drawer, seals, etc. It took 8 months and 6 visits and their TAG team to figure it out. I bought this during a buy more save more promotion. Within the warranty period the freezer was full of ice and frost. It took GE technicians 6 visits and 8 months to determine it was a defective box and could not be repaired. Set up very disappointed

So incredibly disappointed. I have always bought and used GE kitchen appliances. On my recent gut and renovation, I also updated all my appliances and even stepped up to Cafe. So, not worth it. Taking the distributors issues out of the review….the refrigerator looks nice (backlighting sold me). However the noise from this refrigerator is unbelievably LOUD. It seriously wakes up the house, albeit less than 3,000 sqft, it is so loud. Within 20 days of getting the refrigerator the filter went out. ...

Lovely design

Lovely design but doors and drawers are out of alignment. Floor is level, and feet were adjusted like recommended in the user manual, but didn’t help. Appears to be hinges. I need to call about it. Refrigerator has lots of light and is roomy. Love it. Top freezer only allows “soft freeze” so can’t put ice cream in top drawer. Lots of room available in freezer overall. Ice maker is nice.

Disappointed and Concerned

My Cafe Standard Depth Platinum Glass refrigerator was delivered today. I paid over $5000 for this refrigerator. Four $5000 I expect to see perfection. Instead on the left french door along the decorative seam. I see insulation or caulking that used from the seam. The decorative trim on the middle drawer on the right hand side has a huge chip in it and it’s rough and deep to the touch.
