Ratings & Reviews for Cafe Counter-Depth 23.1-cu ft 3 -Door 36-in Wide French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker ( Stainless Steel with Brushed Stainless Handles ) ENERGY STAR Certified

Smaller fridge!

We did not choose this refrigerator... It was already installed in our new home. Even though I like the extra room on the doors for items, the shelves seem narrow. The freezer compartment is also small.

Easy clean SS

Beautiful appliance. Inside is bright and spacious. I am not fond of the lowest door shelves, as you cannot see what’s in them. I wish the door trays were interchangeable for both sides. It would provide more room for jar type items. The inside water descender is a little awkward. You have to press really hard for the water to come out. It would be better if it was sensor controlled. Our ice maker is very loud, which surprises me. The SS doors are so easy to keep clean! Our other SS refrigerator...

Great frig

Like the size, bottom freezer, the refrigerator has a lot of space

Replacement

So far so good. Ice maker works great. Spacious inside.

Great features, love the shelf placement!

Love the alarm if the door is left open. I also love the deep shelves on the inside of the doors.

Door shelf off

Top shelf on LHS door keeps falling down. The door form is distorted.

Just What We Needed

We love our cafe. We had a small space to fit a refrigerator but really wanted to maintain the double door unit. This fits great in our space, looks very sleek, and has enough internal space to fit our needs. I highly recommend it.

Nice looking but unacceptable squeaking drawers.

We bought this Cafe French Door Refrigerator to replace a 5 year old Cafe which need repairs every year. The freezer drawers squeak terribly. The top drawer was replaced and the drawer was quiet for two days. I have tried all of the suggested lubrication advice from GE and the drawers still squeak. I will call repair again but it seems to be design flaws involving the use of plastic rollers riding on the top plastic rail of the larger drawer.

Amazing Looking

Perfect French door refrigerator. We were looking for a French door but did not want an in door ice dispenser. This model has not only an ice maker in the freezer (where it belongs), but also a water dispenser inside the fridge.

Pretty fridge

Attractive and spacious, though the shelves are a bit flimsy. Ice maker a bit noisy, but otherwise works well. Only one of two rebates offered, was able to be processed.....

Overall great, just check the water dispenser

Overall a very good fridge. Only thing I don't like is the water dispenser location and operation. Makes one handed operation difficult as well as filling larger containers nearly impossible.

It doesn’t work…please come out and fix it

It isn’t working can’t get anyone to answer phone

Roomy and easy to find items.

Spacious interior. Easy to find items. Temperature controlled drawers are great.

Disappointed

I purchased the refrigerator months ago and was excited to add it to our suite of appliances for our renovated kitchen. We had our refrigerator installed on May 4th and the compressor needs to be replaced already! I am extremely disappointed.

Love this Fridge!

Solid quality and loads of storage for a cabinet depth fridge. The interior lighting is nice and bright. Drawers open smoothly.

Good features

I've only had the fridge for about 2 to 3 months so not much time but I do like the fridge. We use a lot of ice so I really like the ice tray in it. One con that I don't like is the water dispenser, you have to open the fridge door to get water out of it.

Overall impressed.

Great fridge. We looked at so many refrigerators before we decided to purchase the cafe. It looks amazing, the layout is functional and sleek. Overall, impressed.

Mostly Great - But Fake Stainless Steel

We love everything about this refrigerator with one exception: The "stainless steel" is fake! To be clear, you cannot put magnets on this refrigerator!
