Poor quality freezer door installation.

Freezer door rails were not installed properly thus preventing door from closing/sealing properly.

It's a beautiful fridge. Performs well - for the most part. The issue is that the right hand door no longer lathes cleanly which can cause one of both doors to be ajar. And if I am not paying close attention or firmly closing the door (more effort than what typically goes into closing the door of a refrigerator) it will stay open and jeopardize the freshness of the food.

Great Refrigerator!

Great refrigerator! Quiet, makes ice quickly, stores a lot of food in fridge & freezer. All other appliances are GE Profile (could not buy Profile refrigerator for several reasons) - the finish on the stainless Cafe fridge matches our 12 year old Profile appliances very very well.

Buyer beware!

Compressor blew after less than 2 years. Ridiculous

WAITING TO GET COLD

This refrigerator was delivered 8/12/2024 aroundb1pn. It's 8/13/2024 @ 6:30am and it's not cold yet. I read that it takes 24 hours. I'm so glad I have a second refrigerator.

Classy looking refrigerator

I love everything about this refrigerator with the exception of the water dispenser. If I fill two glasses at the same time the second glass is not cold and I have to add ice. I’m not sure if I have a defective unit or this is just how this water dispenser works. The spout also is not particularly user friendly. For example, my old refrigerator I was able to fill my coffee maker directly from the spout. With this model I have to use a water bottle to then fill my coffee reservoir.

Must pay for white sides and gold handles

Why bother making a counter depth White refrigerator with black sides? Just make the whole refrigerator white! Upsell the white attachments! Why not let me order it with the color of handles I want? Instead of upsell the ones I want.

Don't waste your money!

We have had nothing but problems since we purchased the fridge just over a year ago. After about 6 months, it stopped cooling. After multiple service calls, they ended up basically rebuilding the refrigerator. It worked for awhile. We have had it just over a year now and it's not cooling again! What is going on GE! We are being told we have to pay a service fee and whatever the cost may be to fix their faulty appliance since it is over the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Thid is very disappointin...

I love my GE Cafe counter depth refrigerator, it fits in great with my cabinets and has enough room for my family of 4. We love the french door style and the convenience of having the freezer on the bottom. And we use the filtered water dispenser constantly!
