Drawbacks

Middle shelf space is too low to allow gallon of milk etc to stand upright. Freezer shelf catches and bounces against the lower bin. Very noisy and shakes things around on both in and out moves. Also no instruction book on setting temps (set along inside top of fridge)

Poor quality

Beautiful exterior but problems in the interior. We’ve had to replace our door sensor within the first 2 years. It would beep and turn itself off while shut. The shelf’s and door storage has cracked.

AVOID

This GE refrigerator is very cheaply made. The freezer didn't work from day one - it frosted immediately and little ice balls were all through it. First we were told it needed a new gasket; now we are being told it's something else. The shelving is not sturdy at all. Bottom line, it's a piece of JUNK. Unfortunately it is the only slate colored one that will fit in our space so we are stuck with it.

Some great features

I like all the storage space on the French doors. I’m disappointed with the adjustable shelves do’t allow tall items. Very good ice maker but the cold water dispenser takes too long to fill a glass so it’s necessary to keep the refrigerator door open . The ice holder storage takes up too much space.

Pretty but not ideal

The refrigerator looks good, but it makes an occasional osalating noise & sometimes another high pitched noise. It keeps the temperature correctly though. Sometimes you close the door, & it's not fully closed. Thank God it has a door alarm. Also, you can't open the bottom drawer (largest one) without opening both doors which makes it awkward & less energy efficient. We had a refrigerator with french doors prior to this one, so I was use to the type. Finally, this one seems smaller (less stora...

Beautifully Designed !

The exterior design is not just gorgeous, but the interior is very cleverly laid out to make the most of the existing space.What an upgrade to the look & function of our kitchen.

Horrible refrigerator

I’ve had so many problems with this refrigerator! Have had it worked on three times. Now waiting on the computer board. This refrigerator is only three years old. Had extended warranty but it just expired

Gorgeous Fridge for Overall look

The fridge is stunning in the overall look. The interior components feel flimsy. The drawers in the fridge and freezer are very wobbly and not very stable. The fridge and freezer both get things cold right away. Overall it is a very quiet fridge but there is a high pitched dim noise that is constant....almost like a cricket chirping.

Good looking

Looks great and easy to clean! We bought this to replace our fridge that stopped working. This fridge is laid out in side very nicely making it feel spacious and easy to find what you’re looking for, even though it has smaller square footage then some other models that are counter depth.

Great for its size

Love it it’s really great for such a small fridge.The mats in the drawers are great and easy to keep clean. The drawers on the bottom are awesome storage for keeping everything organized. The shelves feel like they could be better supported in the middle-

Cafe Series

We're used to a deeper refrigerator. I appreciate the slick and clean look of the front. I love the white and the brushed brass. However, I can't fit celery in the vegetable drawers. Too shallow in the model we have.

Great interior lighting

Great product. Size,color,lighting,clear bins & easy to use functions are great. function are great.

Love the counter depth for our cozy kitchen.

I really the love the look of the Cafe series in white.

Small freezer/ good fridge compartments

I did not realize that the freezer drawer was different than my GE profile - the cafe in this model is much smaller, I do not like the plastic drawer or how the freezer shuts. I like the drawer for deli on bottom

Great refrigerator, except...

We've had this refrigerator for 16-17 months and love it...except that last week one of the interior lights started flickering. That's a short lifespan for an LED light! And of course it happened shortly after warranty ended. If GE offers instructions for replacing lights, I couldn't find them. Fortunately there are lots of videos demonstrating how to replace them. If parts have such a short life span, GE should supply a few additional with the new refrigerator.

Great Refrig.

This new Profile refrig replaced an existing Profile that I had had for 18 years. It is a great product. I hope this one lasts as long or longer!

Poor Quality.

Quality is poor. The fridge door is partially broken, and the freezer door broke off completely. Temperature control is also not great. We have it set to 44°F, and the fridge is still freezing things completely. We have not used this fridge very long, under 3 years. I don't understand why it's manufactured so poorly. Our previous refrigerator lasted well over 15 years without issue. In fact, it is still in use in our garage. We are incredibly disappointed. Do better.
