Ratings & Reviews for Cafe Counter-Depth 18.6-cu ft 3 -Door 33-in Wide French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker ( Matte White with Brushed Bronze Handles ) ENERGY STAR Certified

Short life. Compressor failure.

Compressor went out at around 5 years old. No warranty and have to replace. Do not recommend.

I love my Cafe!

Beautiful appliance. Sleek lines, clean and bright look inside, lots of roomy shelves on the doors, drawers that you can see through. Noise level is not as loud as some reviewers mentioned. This fridge is easy to move, it must have wheels underneath; so the floor can be kept clean. We purged the water line to make sure the water tastes good, and threw out the first batch of ice to ensure cubes were produced with clean water. The only downside is the freezer is small but we will have to make wise...

Side by Side Doors in White

It's everything my wife dreamed it would be, she loves it.

Great looking with Surprising Space.

Great space saver with shelves on both doors and water inside. Fits Perfectly between my counter and wall while the drawers open fully.

Loud refrigerator

This has been the worst refrigerator. I called for service because of the humming noise just to be advised that this was normal and everything was good. The refrigerator is making a loud noise. I’m not sure what is the problem. But I feel that I’m stuck with the refrigerator that has humming noise. Overall, I would not recommend this refrigerator.

Love this fridge

My only complaint is the quality of the plastic bins. I have plastic shoe boxes that are more substantial than the bins, but I recognize that many other mfg.fridge bins are of similar quality but otherwise I love the fridge! Its counter depth, it's well lit, the filter is easy to change., it's very handsome and very functional for my galley kitchen. Because it's counter depth, I can see everything and where everything is.

Pretty, Loud, Sold with Defect

It's a beautiful fridge, though it's quite noisy! Also, we realized after two years of normal use that the the lowest shelf is supposed to have two support pegs on each side, but ours only has one on each side, thus the shelf doesn't stay up! Make sure to examine yours carefully agains the product diagram to make sure it's 100% as intended.

Beautiful product

It is a beautiful refrigerator with nice details, however the freezer is a little small..

Nice Refrigerator

Counter depth doesn’t seem to affect capacity Easy to find food and to store

Delivery was right on time.

Very satisfied with the appearance and installation of our new fridge

Not practical water dispenser

This design with the water dispenser ben inside is so hard to use. You need to open both doors and use to hands to fill. The spout is very small and hard to insert into your coffee pot or pot in order to fill with filtered water. It’s a very awkward design. Even though it looks nice from the outside, it’s completely impractical. I regret buying.

Bad refrigerator, good looks

Don't buy anything from this company. I have this model we bought in Nov 2024, the refrigerator stopped cooling in Sept 2025 within the 1 yr warranty and they kept sending multiple tech to fix it without any resolution over past many months. I kept asking for a replacement but they denied it every time. I'm so tired of this I ended up buying a new refrigerator from another brand. Imagine a company not honoring it's warranty and bothering the customer over so many months to live without a working...

Refrigerator/freezer

The refrigerator looks good and it gets very cold. The storage capacity is small for the refrigerator and freezer. In addition, the refrigerator makes a lot of different noises.

Cafe French Door refrigerator function and form

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite smaller capacity, my French door Cafe refrigerator after one year performs well consistently. I ordered brass door handles as an aesthetic upgrade. They lift the look from good design to great design with pizazz. Very happy with the Cafe line. Next on order is a Cafe slide-in range. Then a Cafe microwave. Thank you to GE for well-functioning appliances that look beautiful.

Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of wasted space. Shelves could be a good 3-4 inches deeper without interfering with door bins. Crisper does not keep things crisp. There is a 1.5 inch gap on each side of crisper/fruit & veggie bins' seals that essentially render the seals worthless. Not much really adjustable in shelves... spacing is odd so different configurations are difficult. The retracting shelf is very cheap and flimsy and can't be moved to the opposite side. ...

Overall fine but have some issues with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes loud humming noises frequently, and the inner water dispenser is a little awkwardly designed which makes it hard to fill up certain larger receptacles other than cups, like a coffee pot

I love it it’s wonderful

Great very pleased workable I would recommend this refrigerator to everyone smaller for mobile home yet suitable for large family

Sometimes the Exterior is the Draw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exterior finish and color are great as is its overall design, depth and performance. We are not fans of a stainless finish and this was a great alternative.

Lots of Shelving to put your cold grocerys in.

Plenty of room in the refrigerator , the freezer ice maker we don't used it takes up room , LED lighting is excellent, and the refrigerator keeps everything at the right temperature. We are very happy with it.
