Leaked water from door when installed.

When installed leaked water from refrigerator door. Store we bought it from didn’t believe us (not a knock against GE). Eventually they sent GE repairman out who identified tubing to fill ice maker with water didn’t fit into water inlet valve. He ordered new water inlet valve and repaired problem a week later. Also, refrigerator doors are difficult to close. Typically when hands are full getting items out of refrigerator can push doors closed with elbows. Can’t do that with this refrigerator

Great Fridge

The refrigerator is beautiful! Love the function of both the refrigorator and freezer. Hot water option is great! Only complaint is that the ice machine can be loud at times (when the ice drops).

I purchased this fridge along with the extended protection plan, but I made the mistake of ordering it early while my kitchen was being renovated. When finally plugging it in, the cooling system wasn't working so I had to get a GE technician to check it out. He said it had to be replaced and wasn't repairable, but unfortunately because it was sitting in my living room for weeks it's past the 30 day warranty to replace it. Pleasant Surprise

I had read so many different reviews of this model refrigerator and many were negative. However, I put aside my apprehension as we needed a large-capacity freezer and spacious refrigerator interior. Reviews warned it was "noisy," but I find it no louder than my quiet previous refrigerator. It is, in short, just what we had hoped for. Thank you, GE.

Does not cool down enough, Temp off by +5° #2

I have done more testing on the refrigerator cooling cycle. The new Café refrigerator I have purchased has a cooling problem. I have compared it to my previous refrigerator made in 2001. I set the Café at 34° but it will always heat up to near or above 40° (See Graph) It appears that the temperature differential (the difference between when the unit stops cooling and then re-starts) is 8°. Love the Cafe refrigerator room enough for everything and the freezer is good size .

Not impressed

I had a GE Profile fridge with same cubic feet. It was much more usable with side trays easily accommodating gallon sized containers to smaller jars. Also one tray not fitting at all. Hoping to be able to adjust drawers as they have gap that just causes mess/uses space. So far not impressed.

Love the refrigerator but our first one needed to be replaced after 3 years. Hoping it was a covid fluke and will not happen again.

Love the capacity of the fridge. My only thing I wish was different was that I expected the water to be hot instantly. But I think that was my mistake and reading it incorrectly. Now I’m ok With waiting for the water to boil but I wish more than 10oz would be available. As sometime I want to make multiple cups.

1st one was a lemon.

1st one required 8 technians to repair in the 1st 9 months. This is day 1 on replacment and hope no issues.

New Cafe French Door

I love my new fridge. I replaced an almost 11 year old Cafe French Door Refrigerator that died with this. I like the newer configuration of shelves on the doors. My only complaint is that the plastic film that was covering the stainless steel on the doors is almost impossible to get out. There are small bits of plastic visible in the seams and I don't want to scratch the doors getting out these small pieces.

Great features

Love the refrigerator specially when you have little kids and teenagers thar always forget to close the doors. They have a sensor that warns you about the door being open and also no more being ice from the store and save me on the electric bill also

Big Pros and Big cons

Pros: Great ice maker. All in door! Probably best in industry. Very pretty outside and in. Good lighting. Quiet. Terrible organization in doors, both top and bottom interior. But worst part is the doors are as harder to close than a commercial walk in cooler. It's 2024 and gravity close should be standard. These doors take substantial effort. I have to get alarmed and walk back to re-close 50% of the time. Thank god for the loud door alarm. WiFi is good because I guess I need to be...
