Black Marks

What are these black marks on the control panel? I returned the first one because of these marks and the 2nd one came with black marks again.

Fragile

Our granddaughter bought us the brewer to match our other Cafe appliances. We have found the Carafe to be extremely fragile and replacements expensive. It time to go back to the Keurig!

Bad product

Loved this coffee maker until it came to descale. Followed the direction but light won’t go off and now it stopped working. Just gives error message. This is such a disappointment considering the cost of the product. I would not recommend buying it!

Would not buy

This is the most expensive and worst coffee maker I have ever had. The coffee quality is not good. Does not stay WARM for more than 30 min. Descaled light on and will not go off after multiple treatments. And the rose gold handle has Peeled off. And we have had it for 15 months but it was not used for more than 6 months as we were in Fl

Stopped working in less than two years

Very dissatisfied with this product. I loved how it worked but stopped brewing in less than two years regular usage. They tell me it is not repairable. I thought for the price I would get a high quality product.

Consistant brew

This is my second Cafe drip coffee maker, The first lasted about 5 yrs then the water sensor failed. Brews well and quickly. Design looks nice but I wish it had detachable water reservoir. Have only had this brewe for a month so can't comment on durability.

Nice Design, Poor Execution

Previous coffeemakers owned included one that brewed at least three pots a day for over fifteen years, and the one we retired when getting this one, still functioning after ten years. As we have the suite of Cafe appliances, we chose this one. First hint of compromise was that the descaling instructions were copied from the previous model's manual and pasted into this one, while in actuality, the protocol is entirely different. Consistent, tasty brew!

So far we’ve had this coffee maker for a little over a month and we love it. The brew is so consistent and delicious. Easy clean up too, and the features are easy to use. And as a bonus, it’s pretty and matches our Cafè espresso maker 😁

Beautiful & functional

Beautiful coffee maker that brews excellent coffee. It's easy to clean, looks great on our counter, and brews a pot of coffee in about 5 mins.

Besides being a very good looking stainless steel and copper (stylish) coffee maker it’s super easy to control and the brewing of the coffee itself excellent. Plus, it has enough capacity for the amount of us coffee drinkers at home would normally brew.

unacceptable short lifespan

Made great coffee until it died after 6 months of casual use. Apparently this is a known defect. Tried contacting GE and while they were very nice, it was futile. Didn't do anything other than put me on hold. Time to buy something new....

I would love to give this coffee maker 5 stars. It does make good coffee, looks nice, and seemed built well. However I have now had 3 fail in the exact same way. They stop pumping water. The first one was replaced under warranty, which was good of them. The second maker failed in the same way, and the one that I gifted also failed in the same way. Oddly, they would pump water when you would do a descaling, however not when coffee was ask of it. Unless CAFE fixes their QC issues, I can not r...

It brews a great cup of coffee consistently. Easy to setup and use.

failed after 4 months

It was fine when it worked. Lasted just over 4 months before it stopped brewing. Multiple attempts to reset and/or clean have not been successful.

Pot handle peels

Works well and looks nice, however; after only three months of use the handle is peeling. It has only been hand washed. For the price, I feel like the quality of the pot could be better.

Good coffee maker but bad quality

Bad quality. I got it less than a year and the copper on the handle keeps peeling off.

Great Hot Coffee.

The cafe drip coffee maker makes great coffee. Fast & hot. And it stays hot for a long time in the pot. Now we own two of them. The black and the silver model.

Love this Coffee Maker!

No issues with this coffee maker. Wifi feature is great and it is easy to hook-up. You can set the strength and temperature of your brew and can program auto start or turn it on with wifi feature whenever you are ready! We have the stainless steel model so there is no warming plate but coffee stays hot for a few hours. We have even gone back several hours later and the coffee is still warm so a 30 second stay in the microwave heats it back up! You can also set the # of cups you want from 1 t...
