Great at first, but doesn't last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coffee maker is beautiful and pairs really well with the other matte white appliances. However, I'm on my second one and won't be buying a third. The lights have gone out in part of the clock, and the carafe is peeling and has water sloshing around despite never being submerged.

Don’t waste your money on this product

The First coffee maker stopped brewing, it was still under warranty and the replacement they sent me if you fill the water reservoir to 10 cups of water will brew all 10 cups no matter what you select, don’t waste your money on this

bad temperature retainment

looks great but carafe is disappointing. coffee cools almost immediately and need to rewarm within half an hour. Had previous maker from another company where the coffee stayed warm for hours and half the price. Will not be replacing with same unit when necessary,

Coffee maker will fail in 1 year.

After 1 year of owning this expensive coffee maker the heating element went out and GE will do nothing about it. For a coffee maker this expensive GE should replace their poor quality machine. I will never buy another GE product and I will advise anyone to think twice.

Outstanding Coffee Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this coffee pot. Style and function are both fantastic. And it brews quickly. The opening in the top of the carafe is big enough to get your hand in to clean the pot too.

Don’t buy

After a few years use, metal is peeled off the carafe and the base is cracking. It’s just 2 people using this machine Cafe is not supportive and I do not recommend buying this.

Good not great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first acquired this it brewed extremely fast, the more I use it the slower the brew time. The capacity is standard of all coffee makers. I must say the carafe insulation could use some improvement as it loses temperature raqther quickly. It is confusing to set up and I still need to refer to the manual for certain functions.

Makes great coffee, but doesn't last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we got this coffee maker in 2022 as a wedding gift from our registry. Cafe products look awesome, loved the copper accents, and finally got a coffee maker where the carafe was double walled vs glass. This was because I prefer to drink a good amount of coffee during the morning, and I wanted to see if this would be better for preventing the burnt flavor of coffee that had been continuously heated all morning. Well it was, made awesome coffee....

Very poor product quality

The coffee does not reach 205 degrees as claimed and any remaining water in the basin leeks. I’ve called support but because this is past warranty they won’t offer any solution. Do not buy from this company

Disappointed

Beauty doesn’t last.

The digital numbers for the cups are not clear. I have to scroll through the numbers to eventually figure out the number I’m looking for. Also, the C ON CAFE has peeled off even though I don’t wash the base of the machine. The shiny rim at the base where the coffee comes out seems rusty in 2 places. The spout makes no sense because there’s a complete rim inside the pot which prevents coffee from coming out smoothly. Poor design. Good for the look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's okay - the coffee is excellent, but I absolutely hate how easily the carafe stained up, the carafe is poor quality plastic at top which stains like crazy.

Best Coffeemaker in the World!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot imagine a better coffeemaker than this one! It looks elegant and sophisticated on my countertop. Visitors are always commenting on the style and beauty as well as the brew it produces. A other great feature is it’s ease of use - WiFi takes care of you. The coffee aroma is the first thing you notice upon awakening!

Great coffee maker but not made to last

We have really enjoyed the look of this coffee maker and the coffee it produces, but after less than three years the copper coating on handle is flaking off making it dangerous to handle the carafe without getting scraped. Extremely disappointing quality, especially considering the cost of this product.

Not happy.

Love this coffee maker and it looks beautiful on my counter, but the carafe withthe rose gold peeled terribly and I cannot get a replacement for it. This was not a cheap coffee maker and I am terribly dissapointed since I live in GE's backyard and my son worked for GE before COVID. Not happy!!!

horrible material on the carafe

The Material on this Carafe is absolute Carafe is absolute garbage! If it weren't for it being so expensive I'd throw it away. While the machine works great, the materials that are used on the handle of the carafe won't last you 6 months

Love/unloved

First off, I love this coffee maker. It performed as advertised, great coffee. Smart WiFi ability is sooo nice to have. Unfortunately, all of the gold/copper colored appliqué is peeling off, the handle is falling apart, the cup indicator lights only partially work making it difficult to read. I would say the quality is poor, overall. For the price, this coffee maker should last many years. Ours is falling apart after almost 3 years!! These appear to be known issues and GE should replace the unit...

Disappointing

The overall function is fine but I have had this replaced for finish issues and now the second one has finish issues as well. I paid extra to have something aesthetically pleasing on my countertop but now it just looks cheap. I got the matching air fryer as well.

Moldy smell

I’ve only had this coffee machine for a couple of months, and I already noticed a strong moldy smell coming from the water reservoir. I tried running multiple cycles with diluted vinegar, but the smell is still there. It’s extremely disappointing, especially considering how much money I spent. I honestly feel I would have been better off with a cheaper coffee maker.
