Not impressed yet. Machine randomly turns off and on, drops from network, and is slow to first page out out. Was hoping for better. Considering returning it. May return to the competition. Sorry.

Not what I thought
This printer is not ideal for flyers or graphics. The paper kept getting stuck and I feel like I've wasted paper, ink and time trying to figure out what setting is best for my needs. The feed hesitates, so when using preset brochure or business card paper, the margins are off. This is a heavy and expensive printer for it to not be flexible with its abilities. Returning it would be a hefty tasks and I had to borrow money to get it. I need a new printer for my needs, but that can't happen anytime...

At home, I have always owned HP AIO inkjet printers. I finally decided to try the Brother MFC-L3780CDW. The wireless set up was flawless, there were no issues with either the black/white and color print quality as documents were both clean, crisp and of high quality, printing is fast and without paper jams, and use of the touchscreen has been seamless. Fine printer. Scanning the way I want is tricky.
This laser printer was easy to set up, very responsive. The printer output is crisp and clear. The onboard control takes a little getting used to. My two issues, for which I subtract 1 star, are that the scanner is so fast in starting that it's hard to hold a book on the glass in position and hit start with a spare finger. Love the Printer
I love the printer. I cannot get the scanner to connect to my computer no matter what I do. I use scanning a lot so I always have to go through my computer to the scanner instead of the scanner to the computer which would make it a lot easier for when I'm trying to attach to an email etc...

New machine setup is problematic.
The MFCL3780 is a complex machine that I have not been able to get configured to work correctly. The Brother Chat Help link does not respond during open hours. The iPrint&Scan will not run so I cannot initiate a scan from the PC. The printer repeatedly picks up multiple pages and jams.
