Good, but not great
I have no complaints about how the printer is performing, but two complaints about the printer itself. For one thing, it makes a great deal of noise when it moves the paper to begin a print job. The other is that, although the printer is working wirelessly (i.e., without a cable connection to my computer), the light that indicates that it s connected wirelessly does not light up. I've had two other Brother printers: the MFC-J870 DW. which, in my opinion, were of higher quality.

Good printer
It is a very quick and fairly quiet machine. I’m very happy with the printing. Everything I’ve sent so far has been over local wifi. A few copies on the flatbed. All have worked well. I’ve used from draft to picture quality and have been very pleased. I’m waiting for the time when I need ink cartridges and see how that goes after signing up for the service.

New printer
Other than being abit noisy when each sheet of paper goes in for printing, excellent quality, speed, product. This is a reasonably priced, somewhat compact home all-in-one printer. It has the paper capacity needed and the output needed for what is to be done.
