Good personal printer. A little confusing at the beginning, but all new technology is!

Paper tray document stopper just broke.

Although it is a good printer, the paper tray document stopper is made of low quality plastic material. Yesterday mine just got stuck and it ended up broke. Now I have a new printer with a broken paper tray and it seems impossible to find the original spare part.

Wifi whiff

We had our wifi updated and now the printer is not responding and not connecting…very frustrating. Is there a youtube video to help with the reconnection?

Drops WiFi connection

The printer has been dropping my home Wi-Fi connection, although it worked well for a couple of weeks, and my other home devices have been fine. My biggest frustration is that the printer still did not work after uninstalling and reinstalling the software per instructions on the Brother website. I did this twice. My next step is to talk to technical help to see if the printer can be salvaged. If not, I’m returning it.

Great printer

It was easy to assemble and connect to the WiFi but I’ve only used it like maybe 3 times but the one time I needed to print multiple pages it printed on both sides by itself which I thought was neat. This is the second printer I’ve ever purchased so I’m easily impressed.

It works when it wants to.

The printer/scanner works well when it wants to. Every time Brother pushes a software update, the scanner stops working. I then have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers to get it to scan again. I will use it until it dies but then find another brand. Or, Brother could stop pushing updates that cause the scanner to stop working.

Not worth it

I've only had this printer for a few months and the printing quality has decreased (it was not great to begin with) and the ink takes so long to arrive. Definitely do not recommend this printer or Brother in general.

One of the best

I had a HP envy all in one printer before the the brother printer, the HP I had to replace 3 times and still had trouble with it. The brother printer so far has not given me any trouble, I've had it for about a month. The HP I had gave me trouble with in the first two weeks. So far I would recommend the brother printer to anyone.

Complete Product for office uses

I love the printer , but the ink is a problem for me uses a lot of ink .I’m pleased with the size and weight , not heavy or bulky .

Great for non techies

First, honesty of business. I got what was advertised. Also, printer was easy to install and easy to use.

Printer has the potential

I previously had an older model brother printer and the only thing that really comes to mind with this new one that I'm not pleased about is that for some reason it must not be fully connected to my computer because when I try to print something with the older printer it would turn on right away as soon as it received whatever signal from the computer with this new printer that signal is not being sent or received for some reason so that forces me to have to get up and turn the printer on manual...
