This is my second Brother printer ... I LOVE them ... so reliable and easy to troubleshoot. I've had Canon and HP and have been miserably disappointed. I will ONLY have a Brother!

Great printer with a few caveats
Frequently Falls off Air-Print. Otherwise, it prints quickly and quietly. It scans to computer. It does everything our old Canon Pixma MX922 did, and does it better. But it was hard to get it installed on my Zorin Linux laptop. Support helped me get it working. For some reason, I cannot print from my Brave Browser, but I can print from other applications, so I'm not sure whether that's a printer problem or not.

Hard To Pair, Won't Print When Unused For Days
Printer was unduly difficult to set up. We had a hard time getting three different computers to recognize it. Now in order to print something, it it's been a day or two since the last use, it won't print unless we unplug it for a minute.

This new printer works as advertised, though the ink capacity, particularly the black, is so much less than my old MFC-J985DW (RIP)

His nagging paid off!
After much encouragement from a cousin to try a Brother printer, I bit the bullet and ordered this one. It was a bit challenging for my aging brain to set up, but really not that bad. It works quickly, and well, and Ipaid off am quite pleased that I listened to my cousin!
