This was the easiest printer I have ever set up. It works consisting and doesn’t lose connection. I previously had HP printers but they were all very finicky and required manual adjustments. I’ll never go back to HP.

Pleasant Surprise
I wasn't totally convinced to change brands, but I gave Brother a whirl and was pleasantly surprised at how good this little machine was. The MFC0J170DW (not a snappy name) has behaved very well. I like how easy it is to load paper and envelopes and change out ink cartridges. The print quality is excellent, and I really appreciate two-sided printing.

Reasonably priced and high quality
The MFC-J1170DW is a space-saving, economical printer that is compatible with my Linux powered computers and my Windows machine. Ink is more reasonably priced than my former printer that I ditched because of the high cost of it's cartridges. Printing and scanning quality is excellent. It would be perfect if the paper tray had a larger sheet capacity.

Great Printer
This is a wonderful printer! Was having issues with another brand--had for some time. Decided to buy this printer and I have no regrets. Set up was really easy, getting it online for printing was no problem, and the print quality is superb. I also like the printer ink program you offer. So glad to have sound Brother. Thank you. .

I recommend it!
This is a great little machine. My only complaint is that the setup instructions were not as intuitive and clear as I would’ve liked so setup took me awhile.
