Reliability when you need it

Dependability without equal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced the Briggs and Stratton unit we had installed when we built our home 17 years ago. Served us without fail through hurricanes, tropical storms and floods ( we live in Galveston County half way between Houston and Galveston). That unit began to show its age and use so we replaced it with a new and improved B & S unit. Now we’re good for whatever coastal living throws our way for the next 20 years.

Strong performance with great support.

Power outages for any great length of time have been rare, but we had a 48 hour blackout recently. The generator tried to start but would not. Fortunately a call to the installer identified the problem as the gas shut off solenoid which apparently can stick. A couple of taps with a screw driver handle opened it. Safe and reliable

There may come a time when we will need medical equipment and that will require reliable power. I also appreciate the service provided to keep it reliable

Robust product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been installing Briggs & Stratton generators for nearly 20 years now. Adding the 22KW to my own household was one of the best purchases I could’ve made. Since the install we have had several power outages. One of which occurred at 20 below zero. While our neighbors struggled with frozen pipes and the issues that happen as a result of burst pipes, we had the peace of mind, knowing that our furnace would keep running and we could stay warm.

Makes me feel secure!

I no longer fear storm and hurricane warnings because I know my home is protected. I'm also very happy that the dealer from whom I purchased this generator runs a test each week and that after every test I am notified that it's working well and prepared for any emergency.

Legendary Company, Reliable Generator

Great Whole House Generator

Great product

Not Reliable

We purchased a 26kW generator in July 2023. The day it was installed we told the dealer we purchased it from that it sounded like the engine had a miss in it. They told us to let it run for a while to see if the miss would go away. After less than 20 hours runtime the generator wouldn't start. The dealer that installed it came out and replaced the pressure regulator valve in the generator. In early 2025 it quit working again. By then, the dealer we had purchased it from had gone out of business....
