It has done everything I've asked it to do

I bought this for use in a DIY plywood underlayment and hardwood floor installation, as well as for use in woodworking. The jig saw has been perfect in cutting flooring pieces to go around corners, door frames, notches, etc.  I even used it to cut plywood pieces when I didn't want to hook up my circular saw.  I've only used it for a couple of small woodworking projects (cutting curves on wooden spoons, spatulas, and cutting boards) and I've found it's very easy to use. I have owned two jigsaw before the Bosch JS365, this jigsaw was amazing, the handle was confortable, cut wood very fast and precisely, a lot of power and speed. i recommend this product without problem!!!!! Thanks Bosch for your good product!!!!!

Great Saw!

Best jig saw I have ever owned. Powerful enough to cut through 1/4" steel with ease. Excellent for cutting wood.

I am new to wood working

I have never owned a jig saw, but like all things, I research before I buy. A man I work with and respect told me to buy Bosch and get the best I could afford. This saw has a quality feel when I used it and it’s actually fun to use. Changing blade is very easy and I like having a protective case.However, I have no experience to compare it to another manufacturer. But no need, I will not suffer buyer’s remorse. 

Bosch makes the BEST jigsaw!

I have only had this saw for a couple days now, but after buying, trying and returning many other brand jigsaws, I picked this one up. It is a bit more expensive, but once you use it, you will be very happy you spent a little extra. There is no comparison between this saw and any other jig saw I have used. Very smooth, and easy/comfortable to handle. Blade changes are simple and quick, very durable and built to last (my dad has had his for about 6yrs now).

Nicest one I have ever owned!

This is a powerful jig saw that is simply a dream to use. It cuts through wood like butter and for detailed cutting I have never owned one that touches this one. If you are looking for a man's jigsaw I couldn't think of another one I would buy.

Smooth Cutting

I bought this as a replacement for my "toy" craftsman jigsaw, and there is really no comparison.  Cuts smoothly with very little vibration.  Quite a bit heavier than my wimpy Craftsman, but very stable with a comfortable grip.

JS365

I bought this tool about a month ago-- it is very nice to use and a great tool. the oly problem that I have is that I can not register it on line as it is not in your inventory. Therefore I can not get that extra year of warranty. Please advise what to do

Perfect for hobbyist woodworker.

I'm new to woodworking, so bear that in mind. If you're more hardcore than me, then you might find things to complain about! But I bought this to basically be my saw for everything. I considered circular and chop saws but decided I could get everything done with a jigsaw and a straight edge, and so far that's been true! This jigsaw is well built and gets the job done. It has lots of power, an adjustable speed control and many other features. For the price you will be hard pressed to find a better product. Its durable, I know because I've dropped it on concrete a few times. There is a big selection of blades for almost any task. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with Bosch.

Product is easy to use

Blade change is relatively easy once you get used to it. Do wish it had the ability to attach vacuum to pull dust up. Also a light to see saw blade leading edge. Splinter suppressor is great idea but the light would allow the user to see the blade edge better. The weight of the saw is OK but then I am a big person. Have several wood working projects to do over the next 4 months and am looking forward to giving the saw a good workout.

I have no frame of reference with jigsaws. My first and only jigsaw was a cordless model that I received as a gift in college, and I assumed that it worked the way all jigsaws worked. The JS365 is a terrific jigsaw. I have been putting up with various jigsaws over the years and never owned a Bosch until this this one. I should have purchased this years ago. Compared to other brands this Bosch Jigsaw has saved me time and that means money too. Cuts through hardwood like butter. Thank you for having the item on sale and I should have bought one years ago.

Just purchased this jigsaw. After some research I decided that I didn't need the most powerful top of the line and most expensive one, rather one that gave me lots of power, quality and reliability and returned me with $ to buy an assortment of saw blades. When I installed a blade it didn't ride in the guide roller groove, rather up on one side of it. I was not able to make it set into the groove, even after removing the blade and running the unit a few seconds. I exchanged the jigsaw ONLY BECAU...

Excellent for cutting Hardi-plank

Powerful, quiet. It is slower than my old jigsaw, so I thought it may not be as good, but it proved to be much better. I use it with a blade made especially for fiber cement, and it does an excellent job.

Great tool or the price

I love this jig saw. The blower option has got to be my favourite feature - keeping your line of site clear makes cutting much easier.
