At that time jig saws were not a serious woodworking tool. The Bosch was amazing. I soon after bought one to complete a difficult job and it came through with flying colors ! Over forty years later my trusted saw stopped working. I succumbed to advertising by another brand promising even far superior performance albeit at a price three times the current cost...

Would RecommendMy B&D jigsaw finally wore out. I own several Bosch tools and when I needed a replacement I decided on the Bosch jigsaw. It is a great improvement over my old jigsaw. The blade is easier to change, no tools required, there are variable speeds depending on what material and what blade you are using, This tool is a huge improvement over my old jigsaw in that there is considerably less vibration. A great tool.I'm happy I bought this.
