What Customers Are Saying
The Bosch Colt palm router is a compact and powerful tool well-suited for small woodworking tasks like edging, chamfering, and dovetailing. It offers smooth and comfortable operation, though some users reported issues with the collet not holding bits tightly, leading to inconsistent depth control. While generally durable, there were a few concerns about the motor's longevity. The assembly and instructions for the base/stand also presented challenges for some customers. Overall, the router provides good value and performance, particularly for hobbyists and DIYers, though more demanding professionals may encounter some quality control problems.

Big Saw for Small Spaces
Would RecommendNice saw and stand! It works great, and doesn't take up half of my garage like my old table saw.

Great saw!
Would RecommendThis is a nice saw. Out of the box assembly was easy and required few tools. The whole assembly is relatively light, so moving it around is easy. The motor runs very smoothly. It's so smooth that I can place the push stick on the saw table while it's running and it doesn't vibrate around. Blade marks on the cut edges of my boards are almost non-existent. All operations like extending the table, moving the fence, setting up and collapsing the stand, etc. are simple. I especially like how all the ...

Won’t switch on
My wife bought me this router a few years back and I just took it out today to use it for the first time. I read the instruction but for some reason I can’t get it to turn on. I turn the switch on and I can hear the motor humming but that’s it. I didn’t leave it on too long since I could feel the motor getting warm. I can turn the shaft freely with my fingers and I made sure the base is aligned with the unlock position. Am I missing something??

Good tool, but one safety issue
Would Not RecommendI really think there should be a clear plastic cover to prevent fingers from coming in contact with moving parts. After the first time, I took extra care, but it happened again. If I do it again, I'm going to dump it.

Loved this tool, BUT NOW USELESS
Would RecommendBought one soon after they came out and it has been a workhorse BUT.. The spindle lock crapped out early on; Bosch sent a thin wrench (thank you!). However, the jaws of the wrench only reach half-way across the flat surfaces of the spindle. Gradually, the soft metal of the spindle deformed and now it won't hold. Can not remove my bit; router useless. :(

Do not buy this machine !
Would Not RecommendI am a contractor for living doing this for 26 years > I had a bad experience 3 time bought this machine in the past 14 years do not waste your time it only last about 4 years and the engine burn down due to bud house engine made out of plastic . It's not built to last a simple China affordable tools with a German name on " Bosh " not appropriately engineered to last . Tired of this cheap tools behind what quality should be . I suggest to Bosh to design a better tools with an aluminum house engi...

Decent router…
It’s easy to handle and very powerful, no issues cutting thru teak and mahogany. And this was using cheap router bits! I’m sure medium quality bits or better and this router will perform well. Bit release works great, and the height adjustment is fine IF YOU READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER. I am singing it by 1 star because when you lock the height it sometimes readjusts on its own a 1/16”.

4100 table saw

SHOULD BE FINE FOR HOME PROJECTS
Would RecommendTo be honest, I haven't yet used the saw. I may change my review after I've used it for a while; I have projects in mind once spring has taken hold. I've used tables saws in the past, however this is the first I've purchased for my own use; the features with this unit are certainly advanced compared to my experience. I've noticed comments citing assembly instructions aren't clear. With minor exceptions, careful adherence to the manual allowed me to easily assemble the folding base and safety...

Great long term construction saw. I'd buy another.
Would RecommendThis will be our second purchase of the same similar model (old=4000 series, new=4100). However the first saw was older, which is no longer supported after owning it for a long while! :) Great / accurate fence, easily sets up, cuts well, precise for a construction saw, quiet motor. Great saw! Would buy it again. 1st one lasted 15 years. Cuts almost as smooth as my cabinet Unisaw. Easy to transport, but needs more space. I usually use an 8.5" saw blade for general cuts that doesn't bog or slow do...

Great saw!
Would RecommendNot one to usually do a review. However.....I've been using an old Ryobi 15amp blue for a long time and upgraded to the Bosch last night out of need for a better rip fence (used the 250 bucks for that and put it towards a better saw), bigger table/capacity, and capabilities for my business. Out of the box, the foldable stand was a bit of a pain but with the pic on the box, instructions, and patience I had it together in about an hour. Everything was spot on except for the riving knife. That was ...
Not what I expected
Would Not RecommendI had the original 4000 series saw for over 10 years. Decided it was getting tired and was time to upgrade. Bought this saw after being very happy with the other only to get get let down. Saw itself is not built nearly as robust as the 4000 series, and the stand being smaller diameter tube is insanely wobbly and unstable, very disappointing seeing as my old saw was rock solid. Will likely use it as a beater saw for rough sawn and buy something better for the shop.
