Blade will not go up or down stuck in up position. Wheel handle to adjust broke just spins around.

Acurate out of the box

I got this saw after using an old craftsman that was hard to dial accurate. This saw is a complete difference. I only had to make a couple adjustments like tightening the fence, but didnt have to make any measurment changes. Im getting confident that i only check the fence diference every 5-10 times just to make sure. Being able to move from place to place and store it easily is a hige advantage with all the tools secure to the saw makes it easy to have. Imo i like this fence better than the dew...

Bevel handle broke easily, blade was not squared

The handle to adjust the blade angle was broken after the first time it was used. I already made sure that I turned in the right direction, but it broke on me. Very disappointed. The second issue was that I could not adjust the blade to 90 drgrees. I mean the blade was not squared put of box. If you only cut thin board then it seems fine, but if you cut something thick 3", you will notice out-of-square errors. The third issue was the plastic gears. loved this saw at first...

FIrst semi big purchase after a ryobi table saw. Loved the miter slots, fence, and awesome stand. Used on a couple products, light-medium home projects. Adjusted bevel for first time to 45 for french cleats and it stuck at 45. Broke the plastic handle trying to release the lock (yea i was turning the right way.) Very frustrating spending 600$ on a new saw and this happens. There is no way to access anything to remove the handle which is even more frustrating.

Well built table, sadly the motors do not last

I’ve owned the original 4100 and have had the motor repaired replaced three times in four years. I finally purchased this one and guess what... the motor burned up again. Not sure why Bosch says this is not a common issue, but I’ve had it happen to me enough times that it is an issue that they are not working to resolve.

Plastic gears

This is a great portable job site saw in almost every way but one. It’s a pretty big one though. The gears used to raise and lower the blade are made of plastic and WILL break, rendering the saw entirely useless. If they had just made these gears out of metal I would give this saw a five star review.

Great motor

This is my second one and both have had issues with the micro adjustment the aluminium casing against the steel micro thread adjustment eventually gets stripped and I have been so careful with the second one cause I knew the problem with the first one.

Motors do not last

Have just had 2nd one I purchased stop. They seem to last about 2 1/2 years. First one I rebuilt motor after 2 years, lasted 3 months more and shat itself again. Bought 2nd one, it lasted about 2-2 1/2 years and low and behold shat itself. So now have to look at another to finish job I am working on. Other than that is a good little tool. With a few adjustments as per manual is accurate and nice to use. I am a master shipwright/boat builder and have been on the tools for 40 years when I'm not...

Bosch Colt Trim Router

Easy to set up and use. Suggest buying the kit with the fence because it save another purchase later on

Good Solid Unit

This router has plenty of power to perform the tasks I purchased it to do. Edge forming is primary function that I'll be using it for. It was easy to get going with it. Could be a little easier to set the primary depth setting. The micro-adjustment is good. If the primary depth adjustment was easier, I would have given it a five.

Light weight

I really like my new Bosch colt router. It is easy to use with one hand and has very little torque turn when you turn it on. Very easy to see contact point with wood as well.

4100-10 Review

Replacing my old table saw with the 4100-10 Bosch saw. I've been satisfied with the 4100-10. It performs very well even though it's not a traditional table saw. Overall I think it was a good investment.
