Accurate cuts and well thought out system.

A great saw when new...but no longer so convenient

After 10 years' use of the predecessor 4000 model, the saw/"gravity-rise" wheel stand has been a reliable and durable choice once Bosch kindly replaced the original inflatable tires and their inaccessible valves with solid wheels. I'm picky enough to have put a piece of PVC tubing on the cross brace between the wheels where I push with my foot to raise/lower the setup, and I glued some flexible plastic slider strips to the points where the frame rubs on step edges to prevent scratching of either...

The worst assembly instructions

Good luck putting the stand together! The instructions are absolutely HORRENDOUS! Once you get the wheel assemblies done, you are on your own. From that point on, think of it as a jigsaw puzzle. I have bought many tools from Bosch, but they really let everyone down with this one. If you aren't good at figuring thinks out without instructions, or you don't have a lot of extra time to mess with this stand, consider buying a different saw. I really mean that.

Well designed & superb manufacture!

I bought this saw Jan. 2011 (without the folding table). I'm a retired contractor and since about 2000 all my power tool purchases have been Bosch. After 12 years of faithful service I had to finally replace a part. A new BLADE, which in my estimation is like replacing tires or battery on my truck - expendable. At 85 yrs young, I believe this tool will outlast me. zu Bosch, Danke.

Pretty good saw, DUST issues!

Zero complaints about the saw operation/setup etc. But the dust collection is NOT good. I do have a vac taped to the duct port and I have taped all possible leaks and it still finds its way out. My 20 year old Dewalt was WAY better. SO frustrating.

Excellent as a compact table saw

While this is neither as robust, accurate or durable as a full sized cast table saw as a portable saw for site work or a small workshop it is excellent. Mobile may be a better description than portable, I would not want to lug it up several flights of stairs! Been using it for around 1 year for general building work and kitchen fitting using hardwoods up to 3/4 and softwoods up to 2 inch. Has plenty of power and gives a good clean cut. Ok but a depth issue

Item is ok. The biggest issue is the depth locking. It slips. Also when turning to the lock setting, the depth moves. I own four routers (had more in the past) this is the only one that doesn’t hold the setting tight. Makes it hard and way more time consuming to use.

missing parts

I purchase this table saw yesterday at My local Lowes. it is missing parts the throat plate, the leveling screws are missing the anti kick back is missing and there is no saw blade. Taking it back isn't an option since it was the last one. I will add photos tomorrow

Bosch 10in. Table Saw

This is a great portable saw for my needs. The blade was square with the table out of the box. Very quiet operation. I always measure my cuts when using the rip fence. I will say that the measurement grid is spot on, but I’ll still always measure before using the fence. I wish the power cord had been longer than the 4-5 foot length.
