Ratings & Reviews for Bonide Captain Jack's 32 -fl oz Organic Natural Trigger spray Weed and Grass Killer

Great non-selective herbicide

I have been trying to remove sticker weeds with no avail. This has been the only thing that works. Keep in mind its non-selective, it kills everything, including your lawn. But when you need to get rid of weeds this thing works.

Kills weeds only

Perfect product - does no harm but to weeds!

Good stuff

Worked very well on grass in driveway

Captain Jack"s Deadweed Brew

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Captain Jack's Deadweed brew takes a few days to work but kills the weed and the root. The dead plant is then easy to pull out of the ground. This product only kills the weeds. The only downside is that it smells bad.

Didn't Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item free to try and thought it would be excellent to use around my garden beds. I sprayed it one evening and waited a few days before going out and pulling the dead weeds. Well, three days later the weeds were just wilted, not dead. I would not buy this product. It does not work.

Faster acting with better results than some of the higher priced products I've tried.

Works quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a lot of rock areas around our landscaping all around our house and weeds are constantly growing in those areas. I love that it is for organic gardening so I didn’t feel as bad using it around all the furry creatures that come around. It is ready to use which is very convenient. The spray bottle is easy to use and the weeds were killed very quickly! We used it around the brick trim surrounding our landscaping and it left a film on the b...

Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this spray is non-toxic since I do have a dog that likes to eat the grass in my yard. It's all natural ingredients and has a very strong smell BUT it's not a chemically smell so I am okay with it (prefer that honestly) It really does help kill weeds too! It works pretty quicky, within a few hours

Not very strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I tried this on several small sections of weeds and grass in my driveway and it did not kill the weeds very well. I sprayed the solution 2x on each spot with little or no results. Not very effective for me.

Finally

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have finally found a A product that actually works to kill weeds in my yard. Captain Jack's Deadweed brew was just what I needed. It comes, premade and ready to use. And the spray bottle is super convenient. Spray directly to the weeds that you want gone or pull the weeds and then spray to prevent regrowth. My lawn has never looked better. And my sidewalk no longer has grass growing between the scene.

This is ok for spot treatment, with one exception.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ... The bottle is extremely annoying. You have to pump several times to get very minimal spray. Aside from that, I noticed pretty immediate and effective results where I was able to get product well saturated.

Mostly cleared the weeds in my flowerbeds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the exception of just a few more stubborn weeds that never seem to respond to anything I do to rid them, I was able to clear all of the weeds from my flower gardens that I have neglected this year. I like that the spray bottle is a simple application, and I don’t have to fuss with hooking it up to the water hose.

Didn't work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Captain Jacks Deadweed brew spray for free in exchange for a honest review. This did not work. It killed a few weeds but it also didnt keep new ones from growing so it is a no for me. Its nice that its ready to use but that's about it.
