Ratings & Reviews for Bonide Captain Jack's 32 -fl oz Organic Natural Trigger spray Weed and Grass Killer

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Captain Jack’s Deadwood brew was used on some weeds and unwanted grass that we had on our brick patio and driveway. One definitely saw a crimping/wilting of the weeds within 24 hours and overall dead in 2 days. The reason for not a 5 star rating is that Captain Jack’s had to be used a couple of times on broader stem grass to kill it. Definitely like the convenience of ‘ready to use’. Overall another great Bonide product.

On the spot weed killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the spot, weed killer. Product works really good and gets right down to the root of the weeds. The spray bottle is easy to use and it's very clean looking. It did not harm my grass which was a plus so I could've spray it all over the place.

Pretty good weed killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Deadweed Brew weed killer worked on most of my smaller weeds. It was great on milk weed. The larger ones I had to treat twice. I love the easy to use spray bottle. Its easy to use and fills comfortable in my hand.

OK product but not as good as my standard product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed this organic product on various plants and grass around my yard and was not impressed with it. It required multiple sprays over multiple days to get weeds and grass to die. This product is NOT rain proof for 3 hrs and it seems to take multiple days to die. I did not see that it was fast acting either. Because it does not kill weeds the first time, I then have to follow up in a few days to finish the job. I should not have to waste tha...

Works good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to kill the weeds that grow in between my pavers. I have weed barrier and rocks on top but some weeds still grow through. I tried Captain Jack's Deadweed Brew and it killed the weeds. I sprayed heavy and it worked great.

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Captain Jack's products because they are good for organic gardening and my husband and I try to avoid as many chemicals as we can so it doesn't affect the fruits and vegetables we grow. So, I sprayed this deadweed brew on a patch of weeds and went back and checked a few hours later and they were all dead and I haven't seen any regrowth. I love being able to use a weed killer that doesn't negatively affect my garden. This product can e...

Great weed killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to kill weeds in my yard, and this works quickly and effectively. It will kill anything it touches which makes it a great product for my overgrown, weedy yard. I would highly recommend

Works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super impressed with Captain Jack's Deadweed. This comes in a 32 oz with nozzle. This is completely ready for use. Best part is there is no mess and so easy to use. I am very impressed. Really does work really fast.

It works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what more to say about this product other than, it works! I used it on weeds in my garden and those growing in some the cracks in my driveway, and by the next day the were dead. After I ripped them out, I then resprayed the area for good measure. I would definitely recommend this product.

Kills Some Weeds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed this is a few different areas and it kills some of the weeds very fast. But, it is hard to get rid of all of the weeds. It almost seems like it just thins them out but where it does kill them they don't to grow back. It depends on the weed.

Captain Jack's dead weed brew review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate having weeds in front of my home and I hate using harmful chemicals to get rid of them so I usually pull them with my hands.I used Captain Jack's dead weed brew.it doesn't have lots of harmful chemicals..it's best to use every day to keep weeds away.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product in backyard to spot kill weeds on my patio. This worked great. Weeds were dead within a day. I did find that when using near concrete it made a small spot from the liquid that i needed to hose down to remove. But overall, love this product.

Weed killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the captain jack’s deadweed kill and I used it last week and nothing happened, so I put more down that was on a Monday. It is Friday some of the weeds are dead in my walkway, but the weeds in my flower bed are still there. I don’t put think I put enough weed kill on them. You have to use a lot of it and I have less than a half bottle left.

Weeds dead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mean, what else can you ask for from a weed killer is that the weeds you sprayed it on are dead. I'm not 100% sure of all the types of weeds we had, but seemed to tackle them all - from creeping vines to stubby and tough roots.

Works Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Captain Jack's Deadweed Brew and it works pretty well. I was hoping it would help with the Crab grass and stickers and it does, but not as thoroughly as I would like. I sprayed the problem area as the directed and after a while I did notice the weeds dying. However, it is spotty. I suppose it could be that some weeds are tougher than others. Overall, I am happy with the product, and it does work well. I will definitely keep usin...

kills the weed " dead"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Captain Jack's Deadweed brew to take back control of our rock garden that the weeds have taken over. No matter how many weeds I pull they just come back and seem to double, however since starting with Captain Jack's I have been able to get control.

Fast and effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this on some weeds in the back yard that never seem to go away. This took care of them no problem. I sprayed them in the evening and the next morning they were wilted. The day after it was game over! I love that this stuff is relatively safe and does exactly what it says! Just make sure you spray it at the base of the weeds. I sprayed it on some that were coming through rocks and it was not as effective. I had to move the rocks ...

Weed killer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband uses weed killer every week when you cuts the yard. This weed killer works really well it seems you don’t have to use as often. The weeds are staying away with this weed killer. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I like this weed spray. I like that it was ready to use, but I love that I am able to use it near my raised beds without too much worry. I did make sure I sprayed really close to the weeds themselves to limit overspray onto the beds and so far, it seems that my veggies are unharmed but the weeds are dying off. Definitely worth buying!

Great Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Captain Jack’s deadweed brew ready to use 32oz bottle is so good. This product gives you fast acting control of your weeds , grass, mosses, and algae with in hours. I also used it around my driveway and around my fence. You just shake it really good. Do not dilute the product. You just spray on all your problem areas. Just repeat every 3 to 4 weeks. I would highly recommend this product!
