Junk

Worked good for about 5 mins. The bump feed is annoying. After 5 it started breaking the line inside the spool housing. Had to take it apart every 15 seconds of wacking to pull it back out through the hole. It's going back tomorrow.

Very light weight, easy to handle, and with enough battery power to get most yards in the suburbs done.

Great for Small Jobs

I have a small yard and use this electric trimer for it is simple to use and for the price if I get 2 of 3 seasons out of it I got my money’s worth. There is no gas to go bad, no cord to pull to start or no battery to charge. Just plug it in and go. Like I said simple.

Whacked

Good tool and inexpensive. Almost like a bic lighter. Use it till it breaks and get a new one

Light weight weedeater, and its easy to turn the head upside down to edge. I prefer the one string instead of two because i feel like im changing the string half as much.

This weed trimmer is just the right size for me. It's not real bulky to have to carry around the yard.i gave it a 4 only because it's hard to change from trimmer to edger.

Best I have had in years!

This trimmer changes very easily to do the edging from around trees to the edging around driveways and sidewalks. He has a very strong motor and automatic feed is extremely smooth and easy. I tried rwo or three over the last 15 years, and this one is definitely the best. I highly recommend this trimmer to everyone!

B & D did it again

I have been looking for both a decent weed eater and edger at a reasonable price. I saw this one on Lowe's website and couldn't believe my eyes. Both tools for the price I was looking for, for both items individually. I bought this item yesterday, along with the 2 year extended warranty. I used it today, using the weed eater portion and I did some edging that has needed to be done in a while. It performed both jobs wonderfully. Would buy again and did!

We bought one of these for our winter home in Florida. We didn't need anything big It was so good we just purchased another one for our northern home. Big yard, lots to cover and it handles everything we have. Would certainly recommend this for whatever type of yard you have. Very happy with this.

It is light and just right for a woman to use.

I have to buy a new Black & Decker Trimmer every year because at the price I pay, I know the motor will not last too long. This is the only Trimmer that I can manage as I am 75 yrs of age and my arms give out easily. I have tried the re-chargable trimmers but the battery only lasts for a few minutes-complete waste of money.

Our home and property also got flooded in the "no name flood" We haven't been back very long and our property was as needy as the home. My son purchased a trimmer also, from Lowe's but it was way too long for me to use. This trimmer is very reasonably priced (a big consideration for us) and has been perfect for my height. I've needed to put extremely heavy use on this trimmer, vines and weeds out of control for lack of care. It held up and I can tell it's a keeper for long time to come.
